We were here in 2011 and we are glad that we came back during this trip.
Although I have made a reservation on the day of our arrival but were late and they managed to keep the table for us.
The service is commendable especially the server who waited our table.
He came back and check if we like the food regularly.
He was also able to help us with our order so that our money is well spent on the food.

Swiss sauce chicken, Ham Omelete, Swiss sauce beef hor fun are just some of the must try dishes here.

We also learnt that their souffle is one of the recommended dishes so we gave it a try.
To our surprise, it was the biggest souffle we have ever seen.
It's big enough to feed at least 8 person!!

The food and service is commendable that we made revisited it again the day before we leave HKG.

Very yummy swiss sauce chicken wings, pork leg with rice, roasted pigeons. A little pricy but if you go for lunch set, it's HK$70 per pax comes with 1 main, 1 beverage & a soup

Tai Ping Koon Restaurant (Mau Lam St, Jordan)

The air con was blasting in the restaurant. Everyone who came in asked for a warmer table but there was none.

The roasted pigeon and swiss sauce chicken wings were over rated. They tasted below average and are overly priced. Preparation time took 30 mins. We sat there shivering in the cold air blasting from the air con. Although they served us hot tea but it was a long wait. The soufflé also took another 30 mins after we finished the food. The soufflé was as big as our head and it was too sweet for us. These 3 dishes cost HKD$438 (SGD$70). We did not even finish the food.

Definitely would not recommend this restaurant.

This is a very nice restaurant. Good service, good food, and a long history. Their Swiss Chickens are fantastic, and their soffle is just amazing. The souffle is bigger than my head and inside it is full of bubbles. Very nice texture. Excellent overall, but just a bit pricey, well actually, VERY pricey.

I found it rather disappointing. The restaurant, famed for their Swiss Chicken was not as fantastic as it seems. It is nice tasting but just average. I find it unreasonably over-priced!!! For 9 pieces of small chicken wings, it cost us HK$200 (S$33). For that price I can buy a whole (or maybe 2) roast chicken. Generally, the food there is expensive for its standard.

Other dishes that were more delicious-worthy were the Stir-fried Beef Hor Fun and Souffle. The waiters are quite nice and helpful. The restaurant has a nice old-fashioned chinese diners decor.

I won't really recommend that you dine there unless you are in vicinity.
