Great Jazzy music style starting at 9:30pm. We stopped in two nights in a row, it was especially fun with a large group. Excellent atmosphere, very popular - try to get there by 9:00pm if you want good seats, or you are likely to be standing around waiting for someone to leave!

Last weekend we enjoyed a 5 day holiday in Hong Kong and spend two evenings in this great bar, the music starts to play from 21.30 hour on till late, they have guest performers every evening with a Jazzy music style and nice entertainment, while we were there nine people performed on stage, we love this place!
Recommenced for anyone who wants to have a great evening!

Ashley Road at is best, good music an very good bar food.
A very nice place to relax in the evening when in Kowloon, close to all the best Hotels and the road has a lot of other nice places to eat as f.ex the German Restaurant.
And it is still possible to exspierence a little bit of the old Hong Kong, as you practicaly fine the Red Lion next door.

Stepping into Ned Kellys, I was expecting to be reminded of Australia but this place did better. It triggered fond memories of listening to great music performed by big bands in darkened little jazz clubs in New Orleans. The band comprises of a good eclectic mix of folks and they manage to successfully inject some humour into their musical style. On the 3 separate occasions that I've visited this place, regular customers have also been invited up to the stage to sing/perform. It's a very casual atmosphere and it's really perfect if all you're looking for is a relaxed and entertaining night out. I love this place so much that it's become the default option when we have guests visiting from overseas and/or we have no plans on Friday night.

Ned's gets really busy on the weekends and they don't hold reservations for after 8 or 8.30pm as the band starts at about 9ish so my suggestion is to rock up at about 8ish and enjoy their happy hour! The food here is quite typical of pub grub -- limited in variety, greasy, nothing to call home about but it serves its purpose. But let's face it, no one really comes to Ned's for its food.

We went for a drink there and it is dark with long tables. The place was fine but the menu did not really stand out and we decided not to eat there. The place is not the biggest so with the band playing I am sure it would be lively and noisy. It is an ok drinking place close to the Nathan road
