The you to the aqua team for a wonderful experience last night. I was entertaining guests from Paris and Burrgundy, so under some pressure to perform!
Starting with Champagne and cocktails in aqua spirit Milan and Bryson showed us their skills. A 'round of Smoky Martinis' was knocked out for the suits next to us from the US and by their accounts were 'excellent'
Downstairs in aqua roma we all dined Italian, the Beef Carpaccio was amazing and the Foie Gras Brioche decadent with the cherries cutting through the perfectly cooked foie gras. The Guinea Fowl was the winner of the main course, stuffed with lobster and basil, which we teamed perfectly with a Nuit St Georges Burgundy. Navin served us excellently, with food arriving and disappearing with no interruption to the flow of conversation.
Pricing is more than reasonable for the whole experience- From start to finish aqua attends to all details. And i didn't even need to mention the view!
It is not always easy to please a well fed Frenchman but all left suitably impressed and bound to return. A must for all discerning visitors.
