THIS is how you want to be treated after a long flight!Easy-out Airport, fast train to city, hotel shuttle bus 50 steps from the train terminus, fast check-in in a cool and freshly scented lobby, whisked up to a fluffy bed, and ZZZZZZZ. The view over Hong Kong Harbor was gorgeous, and when you wanted to sleep-in, the large windows had total blackout electric shades. Rooms and baths are clean and beautifully updated. Room Service was fast and food quality high. Good Job Marriott!

Room Tip: High floor with Harbor view!

Booked this hotel for a conference at the Hong Kong Convention and Exposition Centre (Wan Chai, downtown). I knew it was not really close but it was a trusted brand and in my price range. It was only about a 8-10 minute taxi ride which cost around $HK 35-40. There is a shuttle to the convention centre that I took once. It is quick and convenient but the time (one trip at 9:00 AM) did not always work for me. Beware that taxis are not plentiful in this area and there can be a 10-15 minute wait for one at peak times. If you need a taxi to the other side of the harbor, you will probably not get one at this hotel.

Check in was smooth and I found the staff to be incredibly courteous at every point! The room itself was very tiny as per usual in Asia. I was upgraded to a harbor view which was nice. The room, though small, was fine and hit the standard of Courtyards. The TV had about 30 channels including Discovery and CNN which were the only ones I really watched. The internet is not very fast and I found Skyping to be of low quality.

The Executive Lounge is nice. The breakfast could use more variety from day-to-day but what they serve is fine. The eggs were almost always a complete fail and looked more like lemon jello mixed with eggs. Nothing is incredibly good but it is a quick breakfast on the go and though while not great, there are both hot and cold options. There is a happy hour with wine, beer and appetizers (cheese, oysters, and more) in the evening. I had a late flight and was given a 6 PM check out which was wonderful. Spent an extra couple hours in the lounge before heading to airport.

Overall, had a fine stay and would consider staying here again. If going to the Hong Kong Conference and Expo Centre (Wan Chai), would recommend staying closer if you can afford it.

Check-in was fast and counter staffs are humorous and engaging, definitely makes the check-in enjoyable. Rooms are small which is expected for business hotels in Hong Kong. Room that I was allocated have little habour view from one of its window. Kept the blind down for the other windows in the room due due to close proximity with neighboring buildings. Room is clean and neat; furnishing and toilet are well maintained.

During the stay I had access to the lounge but nothing fantastic worth mentioning. Food at the restaurant is normal, the spread for breakfast is alright and with the same common fare you get at most hotel's buffet breakfast.

Nearest public transport to the hotel is the tram stop located within 20m from the hotel. Hotel provides shuttle service to the airport express station in Central but there is a little waiting time(approx 15mins) if you happen to missed the shuttle. The nearest MTR station (Sheung Wan) is about 10-15mins walk away. Getting around would be an issue if it is a rainy day.

Room Tip: If possible try asking for a room that faces the sea.

Courtyard Marriott is a great hotel and the service was splendid. The rooms were somewhat small but what do you expect when you are staying in Hong Kong. Besides the size, the room was clean and we slept well. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a good selection and by far better than all the other courtyard i stayed at in the past. The only complain about this hotel is the location, this hotel is not convenient to any subway stops. It is close to the bus stops and the tram but you need to know hong kong pretty well if you were going to take the bus. Due to the location, the hotel does have an a solution...they provide a free shuttle where you can take the subway from there.

Stayed many times. Shuttle service from the Airport Express is convenient. Check-in is always efficient and friendly; which is a nice change from the very rude, arrogant sales staff (despite having a very active corporate account).

Rooms are very small - but this is what you should expect in Hong Kong. Modern room with good audio visual equipment (several connection options), nice modern bathroom (which could be deep cleaned more often). Moderately comfortable bed. Good views over the harbour (if your room faces that way, otherwise not great).

The area, Sai Ying Pun, is a good 15 minute bus ride, or 20-25 minute tram ride from Central. 10+ mins by taxi. It's a run down, dirty area with dried-fish shops that stink up the place. Unpleasant. However, like the rest of Hong Kong it's safe enough for a female to walk around at night on her own. There's a public airport bus that stops across the road from the hotel - very convenient and well priced.

The lounge breakfast and cocktails are very disappointing. Cheap food and small cakes in the evening & a very basic tasteless breakfast. It's not worth paying extra for the lounge. There's a small modern gym next to the lounge with cold towels available (nice for when you've walked in the hot, polluted air of HK).

Breakfast at the main cafe is good, although the staff are in dire need of service training.

The modernity of the hotel & rooms makes for a good stay, and if you can get reasonable rates, it's some of the best value for money in HK for a moderate business hotel. The trade off is an extra bit of travel to get to Central.
.

Room Tip: Harbour view, high floor.

For HongKong, hotel rooms are generally small unless you pay 400+ per night. This Courtyard is not the typical Courtyard hotel we see in the US. It's a 4 star hotel with 5 star service.
Best way to get to the hotel from the airport is take the airport express, hotel has free shuttle at the Hong Kong station every 30 min.
Get the lounge access, it has good breakfast in the morning, as well as free snacks and drinks in the evenings.
All rooms has water view, although the 2nd room has the best view of the Victoria bay. Rooms are decent size, and the beds are large and very comfortable.
Location is very convenient, there is a tram station right outside the hotel. It's HKD 2.3 per ride and it'll take you to the financial center of HK where you can shop, go to offices, or walk to the piers to take the ferries.
