I've stayed at this hotel 4-5 times over the years. This trip was a bit of a let down, as I found the staff to be somewhat difficult and a tad rude (front desk staff said I could get a free upgrade, then a minute later denied saying that). It states in the room service menu that if your order is not delivered within 45 minutes, it's complimentary. My order took longer than 45 minutes but they still wanted to charge me. I wasn't backing down, and finally they agreed to remove the item from my bill. It should have been removed without delay.

Rooms are nice, but not very clean and extremely small! I felt like I was in a closet instead of a hotel room. Location is not good if you are travelling with kids. It was a hassle dealing with the stroller etc...It would have been better if we were at a hotel right in the heart of things.

This is not a hotel for families. No swimming pool or anything else. Sure, they have an exercise room...but that's it. No bar. Only one restaurant. It's really not a hotel geared towards tourists, but yet they still charge a lot for the room.

Overall, I don't think I will be staying here again.

Room Tip: Get an upgrade (free) to the harbour view. The city view is horrible!

I wanted a view of the harbor and it was affordable to do so here. After conducting business during the day, I wanted a place to refresh. Unlike so many of the hotels... internet is included. The Courttyard Hong Kong is a nice surprise, except for the $HK40 ($US 5.00) coffee from the cafe in the morning. There were lots of decent restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood so I skipped the MoMo after that. It was easy to make all my appointments by taxi in Central and Eastern HK, and no problem to get over to Kowloon. The closest MTR station is a $HK20 taxi fare. Or just walk it if you have time (about 20 min.s). Ask the hotel to make a reservation on the door-to-door shuttle bus if you are coming from the airport (only $HK140). Very convenient! The room was modern and clean. The staff very friendly and professional. My 2nd time so they are consistent from visit to visit.

Stayed 2 nights, great location for quick taxi to the peak and other attractions. Close to ferry port for Kowloon, neighbouring buildings bit run down, but hotel immaculate, setting gives good feeling of true Hong Kong. Kowloon side seems more upmarket and alot busier, but this location great to get away from hussle & bussle. Would stay again, couldnt fault rooms or staff. A pool would have been nice, but wasnt advertised or expected.
Great find!

The Courtyard by Marriott in Hong Kong delivers on its promise. Reasonable price and great location. Good value for the money. In world of Hong Kong's inflated lodging market, this property, is clean, new and well maintained. Although it may lack some of the panache and amenities of it's 5 star competition, it is head and shoulders above many of the older "Hong Kong Style" properties in the area. This hotel delivers everything a business traveler can ask for at this price.

Good hotel. Great location. Free shuttle takes you right to IFC mall which is near plenty of transportation. Small rooms but adequate. Harbor view is nice. Staff is also helpful. Breakfast was good. That's all.
