“Very Good”

Pros:

Free upgrade from Superior Double to Premier Double, our luck. Stayed 4 nights, good value for money, HK is an expensive city.
Free in the room: 32" lcd tv ( weak programs ), wi-fi ( good speed ), safe box, Kettle Coffee & Tea, mini fridge, hair dryer, 2 bottle of plain water everyday.
Reception is at the 9th floor, our room was at the 12th floor, faced to the street.
Good cleaning service everyday in the room.
From / to the airport you can use bus A11, cost 40 HK$/pp/one way, take 40-50 min. + only 5 min. walk from the bus station. Market in the basement, open everyday from 09:00 to 23:30, local food places, 7Eleven, McD, underground station, tram, buses, etc. in nearby.

Cons:

Too cold in the room, can't manage the AC on the heating way.
A little bit noisy from the street, no double windows.
They don't have a computer in the lobby, its cost 80 HK$ / 1 hour to use one at the 10th floor. Printing is also for extra money, for boarding pass, etc. I handled with my smartphone, for check-in on-line and received boarding pass at check-in counters in the airport.

Final words: very good hotel for our needs.

The room looks exactly as what is viewed on the website. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. There is a 24hr security CCTV and security guards at entrance. The surroundings of the Hotel is quiet and not overly crowded with people and traffic as compared with other parts of HK. Location is fantastic, walkable to bus stop, tram, mtr, ferry terminal, eateries, shops, local markets, supermarket, causeway bay etc. Round the corner of the hotel, you can find Japanese, Thai, Chinese food and local desserts.Happy to have stayed here!

For the price i am paying. It comes to my surprise that the room is huge. It comes with free in room wifi service. The location is great. It is near to trem and mtr. Going within the hk island itself is convenient. The taxi fare would not exceed 30 from the hotel to LKF. Within 20 hkd to time square and fashion walk. I will choose to return to this hotel for my next visit. Last but not least, remember to try out the steamboat at 5th floor. Its the best steamboat and canton dishes i had during the trip.

We are currently staying at JJ hotel and I am writing this review using their free and fast wifi:-) We booked the room through booking.com 10 months ago, a premier room for Hkd 980 excluding tax. We sent email to the hotel prior to the booking, asking them was it ok to stay in their premier room for 2 adults and 2 children (age 3 ad 5). The hotel replied that it was ok but they couldn't provide any additional bed, blanket or pillow.

The check in process was fast, their lobby is at 9th floor. We were required to give them 500 hkd deposit. The deposit could be paid by cash or credit card.

This is a no frill kind of hotel. No one assist us to show our room in the 12th floor, but it was ok for us. The premier room is very spacious, it has a kingsize bed and also a bathtub! For the price we paid this hotel considered cheap.

We took airport train express to HK station (HKD 160 for 2 adults) then continued taking the free shuttle bus H1 to Novotel Century. JJ hotel is a 5 mins walking from Novotel Century. The location of JJ is excellent. Walking distance to the Islamic Center which is famous for its halal dimsum, 3 mins walk to tram station (3 stops away from Causewaybay), and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which we can take bus 75 going to Ocean Park.

I rate this hotel excellent!

Plus: The location is very convenient and there are plenty of eating places nearby. The set up is a little funny as the hotel occupies a few floors within a commercial building. The room is of a decent size (certainly by HK standard as I have seen rooms 2/3 its size). Although not regarded big, personally i find it sufficient for 2 people. The decor is neutral and the room is comfortable and reasonably clean. There's no bath, only shower but that doesn't bother us. The toilet and shower area is only enclosed by floor-to-ceiling glass (presumably to make the room looks more spacious), although there are blinds to block out the view. Some people may mind but, again, that doesn't bother me. The room is sufficiently quiet. I could just about hear snoring from the next room but it's only if I listened to it very carefully. There's a reception/common area outside with a small sitting area and magazines, which is a nice touch.

Negative: (1) while the room is decently clean and the decor reasonably modern, there are signs (in the toilet and shower area) that show the finishing is not top-knotch - unlike what one would see in a 5-star hotel. But for the price, I wasn't complaining. (2) there is a note asking you to place it on top the bed if you want the housekeeping staff to change the sheets. However, i noticed that even though We didn't put the note on the bed, they hadn't changed our sheets during the few nights we stayed there. I was fine with that as we are conscious of the environment and, in any event, we were only there for a few nights.
(3) they only have the basic toilet amenities, such as soap, shampoo and shower gel. No cotton pad, nail file, sewing kit etc. So if you need these, you will need to bring your own. The good thing is they have toothbrush and toothpaste which other hotels often don't provide.
Overall we are satisfied with the hotel and will choose to stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights in a superior twin room on the 9th floor. We were given a room (9S) right next to the reception and next to the linen/ cleaning room so it was quiet noisy early in the morning. If possible request a different room.

Excellent customer service - they emailed us the next day after check-out informing us that we had left a jacket in the room.

Pros:
*Room was spacious enough for 2 people, clean with basic amenities
*Strong shower head
*Location: in the middle between Wan Chai & Causeway bay (15mins walk)
*Wan Chai MTR: 7mins walk
*Lots of eateries, some provide English menus
*They have a DVD library (asian & american movies) available for rent, $50HK for 2.

Cons:
*It does get noisy in the early morning
*Beds are firm, almost like sleeping on a plank of wood
*Air-con temperature can't be changed
*Some water leaked outside of the shower

Overall I would stay again. It is a good budget hotel in an expensive area in HK.

Stayed here for 6 nights and found it to be in a good location. The "hotel" occupies floors 9 to 12 of a 20 floor building and is really just a place to stay as it does not have any of the facilities we are used to having in a hotel. The room was quite spacious and bigger than we expected having read reviews of hotels in Hong Kong. It was very clean and only a few minutes walk to Wan Chai station.
