“Small”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2014 via mobile

Small room and very small restroom.
Actually i have read all the reviews and I'm not mind about small size. Because in HK, i wanna explore the city, not the hotel or hostel room. Haha..
Staff was good.
I met 3 new friends there from Indonesia, too.
Love the moments there. Hope I can go there again.

Our friend made a booking for us for 6 days and made a deposit of 500 dollars. We went to the guest house and said we can't have the room for 6, due to an emergency we had to leave some days before. We also wanted to stay for just 2 nights 'cause we had friends in the city who could host us in the last minute.
The front desk lady was extremely rude with us from the first second, were told to pay instantly for 6 days otherwise our deposit won't be returned and we can't stay there at all although it was around 11pm. We managed to bargain it down to 4, 'cause that was the days we actually stayed in HK. After that we started to have a small fight and yelling at each other finished by hearing that she doesn't like us. That was our welcome in Hong Kong.
We stayed there with a very bad feeling although the next day's administrator was a completely opposite to this lady. She was very helpful, friendly and smiley. We really want to say a big thanks for her!
In the same evening our Internet stopped working (and didn't work until the end of our stay) at our room and we reported it to the lady nr 1 which cultivated to an argument like the last night us hearing that she doesn't like us. I don't think that's the way an hotel administrator should behave with her customers.

We were very disappointed with this lady's behavior and if it weren't for the other administrators we wouldn't recommend ANYONE stay there. Everything will be fine if you just keep far from that short haired skinnier one. She's extremely rude. The other two are very nice.

Room Tip: The rooms have a very different quality, so there's something for every budget.

Excellent location, easy to find, 7/11 just on the ground floor, MTR station stairs just right next to building. The room was very small, with transparent bathroom door inside! Luckily i got room with windows. The lady at the day shift was very warm and helpful, but not with the one who is in charge at the afternoon. The air conditioner was terribly noisy.

I stayed in a 3-bed room for 3 nights with 3 friends. The roomwas small, cramped and you can barely move around. It's not the place to stay if you are looking to shop in Hong Kong. I feel that even if you reserve a 1, 2 or 3 bed room, the total floor space of the room is the same.

The location is very convinient and near an MTR station that links to everything.

But the staff is VERY friendly and helpful. They speak english very well and offer simple and easy information to travellers.

I come for holiday with my family and know this guest house from my friend that stay there before. I already hear bout the small room, but for me it is ok cause we're going to hk not for staying in room we want to explore the city. But really shocking my husband cause it is very small and his legs hang in the bed hahaha.
I really remember the enterance full of shop and I confuse to find the place. Mirrador mansion is old building next to holiday inn hotel. They provide us hot water outside the room to share with other. You can ask them to keep your luggage if you want to go to macau and go back. As I remember they put our bags in warehouse.
The location really near mrt and many shop don't forget to eat mangoes dessert can reach by walk..
If u ask me would u come back again? I come back for short stay but not with my husband cause he don't want to sleep with hag legs again :)

stayed there for 5 nights, given a friend's recommendation. but the place turned out to be not what I had expected. the toilet was flooded, no housekeeping (even though they say they do housekeep everyday), sheets stained, room was too small for 4 person (no space for bags). However we got a better room (deluxe quad) on the last night (as the standard quad was not available) and it was a world of difference (and perhaps one of the saving grace of this place..). wifi connection was strong though, and the location is right in the centre of the city and accessible to everywhere. if you would like to stay here, pay more for their deluxe room.

As a 6-4 (193 cm) American, it was difficult to even fit into the room here. That said, I think it was US$35 a night and we were right in the heart of Kowloon Bay. Literally no creature comforts or frills of any sort, but the room was clean, bed was not bad and the AC was strong enough. The train station and a zillion restaurants are close by, as is a Starbucks and other cafes. If you are my size or bigger, be warned. But if you just need the cheapest option possible in one of the world's densest, most expensive cities, this is worth it for a short stay.
