We had fun looking around the markets & listening to people haggle and bargain. Pretty much the same stuff over and over! Some sellers were very aggressive & rude & make snide comments at u in their language if u dnt purchase from them but that's their problem! We laughed it off. It's worth a look but just ignore them if they get pushy! Take a brolly if its a sunny day! If yr interested in something, offer 1/2 their price &if they say no, walk away! Watch them chase u &lower their price over &over till u get2a price yr happy with! I had fun!

I visited the Ladies Mkt a couple of years ago, bought various items of clothing for the family and some copy pens (Mont Blanc). This time the choice of clothing was much reduced, many mnay stalls selling the same thing. Still good for football jerseys, if you want cases for phones, notebooks etc then there are dozens of stalls selling them.

Prices are a gamble, as usual barter till they let you walk away, then come back with a tiny increase. Shame there is not more variety of items on offer, I suspect the police may have had a crackdown on the copy/replica items as was certainly a lot more 'straight' than when I was last here.

Some of the eateries at the side of the market are good, simple well proced food, a couple of Japanese outlets were good- sorry cant remember the names.

I thought the Ladies' Market would be something special but I was wrong. It was just a typical crowded market with not so friendly store owners/sellers. Finding a place to eat is also not so easy around. However, was able to find a very affordable souvenir shirt seller. They mostly sell hongkong shirts 100hkd for 5, but this particular lady agreed on giving me 6 shirts for only 100hkd. It was literally the highlight of my trip there.

Ladies Market is at a walkable distance from metro station. This is a street market and you have to use all your bargaining skills to do a successful shopping. I purchased a wallet for HK$50 for which the lady was selling for HK$150 and a T-shirt for HK$75 for which the lady quoted HK$140.

There are keychains, wallets, purses, T-shirts, Clothes, soft toys, chopsticks, magnets, caps and similar souvenir shops. You will definitely spend much more if you shop elsewhere for souvenirs in Hongkong.

Was ok not as much fun as temple street night market, The sellers here looked miserable and when you ask for a price they shove a calculator in your face, Noo fun at all, Save yourself two mtr stops and stay at jordan for temple street night market.
