I am impressed that the hotel provide numerous shuttle buses to various locations. This makes exploring HK much more convenient. The staff are friendly and always ready to offer their assistance. My friend and I like that the hotel always smells great and fresh! (you know what I mean). It makes a welcome change from the humidity outside.
You can easily walk to Times Sq if you miss the shuttle bus. its a mere 8-10min stroll.
And its very close to the Happy Valley Racecourse - which by the way, is a must go for all visitors :)

Convenient location near causeway bay and wan chai. We got upgraded to a premium room, even though the staff did ask if we wanted to pay first! The room faces away from the cemetery just behind the building. The only niggle is that the bathroom is really tight! If I stretch my elbows out folded, I can touch both walls! They do give you nice small little bottles of toiletries tho. The upgraded room is clean and modern, satisfactory for overnight stay. We stayed at the top floor for 4 nights, and staff is helpful. The only complaint is that the wifi is only free in the lobby and cafe. And when I went from the 27th floor to the ground lobby, I can't seem to connect. And I didn't feel like paying an extra 12 dollars for in room internet. Didn't try their breakfast, but to be honest in hong kong you can eat your heart out out side!

Room Tip: If you are superstitious, try for a room facing away from the cemetery.

We travel to Hong Kong every year to accompany a friend who teaches out there. He informaed us that we would be staying at the Cosmo Hotel in Wan Chai this year. I have to agree with some of the comments on here aboutit. It is in a very strange location next to a very busy road and about a 10-15 minute walk to the shops. The room that we has initaill booked was for three. A double and a single. We were given our key and went up. To say it was small is generous. The double bed has a small gap around it in whoch to move, the was not wardrobe space to speak of and strangley it has a shower room and toilet and a seperate toilet. In a room this small a 2nd toilet is not needed. The space could have been used as a walk in wardrobe. We asked if there were any bigger rooms available as this would haev sent us insane to be cooped up for the full 7 nights.

We spoke to the front desk and they could not have been more helpful. Obviously we had to pay extra but we we moved into a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom appartment. It was huge. The only gripe we had was that it was on the 3rd floor so closer to the traffic noise and on the same floor as the hotel offices. Other than that the room was ok.

The bar was very average and not really an area that you could have spent an evening, if you were stuck in due to the weather.

Overall it is an OK hotel, but not brilliant.

Room Tip: look for another hotel, this wouldn't be my firts choice

Thank you for the comments. Our Studio Triple room is a perfect budget choice for triple occupancy and it’s nice to learn that our guest services manager has helped for a room change and you are pleased with the assistance. Location-wise, it is amid entertaining Causeway Bay and commercial Wan Chai area making it an excellent choice for business or leisure travelers. Within an 5-8 min walk will reach the centre of Causeway Bay with lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel also provides free daily shuttle service to multiple destinations on the island including Causeway Bay (subway / Times Square), Wan Chai (Convention Centre), Admiralty (Pacific Place), Centre (IFC Mall), etc. The Nooch Bar on the ground floor is a jazzy place to spend the evening with over a glass of award winning cocktails. Live sports is broadcasted in the bar as well. We hope on your next return it will become a brilliant stay!

My stay at COSMO was wonderful. The cleanliness, the environment and of course, the friendly staff are some of the moments i will not forget. The free shuttle bus service to town area, airport express station are compliment-able. Not forgetting the wonderful location where i can find good food and shopping places. I will not hesitate to choose COSMO again on my next visit!

Room Tip: Choose the room facing the busy road, also, get to know their promotion to upgrade your hotel room!

We booked the Cosmo via our travel agent and we were very satisfied. The location of the hotel is close to Times Square and the Tram line. So it was easy to explore the city. The staff at the front desk and the concierge were extremely friendly. They did their utmost to help with internet access (several times), which we would not have managed without help.

I travel to Vietnam numerous times a year, and like to stop for a day or two in Hong Kong. Its on my nickel, so I visit the various discount travel sites to find a hotel in the under $125 range. The same five hotels seem to always pop-up: Regal, Hotel Bonaparte, Cosmopolitan, Cosmo and Charterhouse. All are in the Wan Chai/Causeway Bay Area.
Cosmo is the "trendiest" of the much, but probably overly so. Nice room, nice staff, but no amenities. Internet up charge. Poor location.

Thank you for the review. We hope you enjoyed the stylish décor of the hotel alongside with the good value. We are also pleased to know that you find our room nice and staff friendly. In fact, all rooms are facilitated with practical amenities such as bathroom necessities, coffee maker, etc. Free WiFi is offered to all online bookings and more exclusive perks are included when book through hotel official website too. Location-wise, we are amid entertaining Causeway Bay and commercial Wan Chai and nearest subway is only a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel also provides daily free shuttle to multiple destinations such as Causeway Bay (Times Square / subway), Wan Chai (Convention Centre), Admiralty (Pacific Place), Central (IFC Mall), etc. Public bus stop and tram stop are found outside the hotel taking passengers to the rest of Hong Kong island and tourist spots such as The Peak, Stanley, etc

Starting to look a bit tired but clean, tidy and a short walk to the water if you want to stretch your legs.
