My partner and I visited yesterday for lunch. I can hands down say we had the best meal we have had this trip here.
We ordered a variety of dishes with the stand out being the xiao long boa with truffles. While not cheap this is a dish worthy of the adage you get what you pay for. It was packed full of truffles and beautiful pork meat. We savoured every bite of this dish and would not hesitate to order it again when we go back. I say when because I am determined to head here every time I visit Hong Kong.
All the other dishes were also excellent. We had a cold pork dish. It was very close to a terrine. Cucumber with chilli. Refreshing and spicy. A sticky pork filled concoction that was filling and full of flavour. And a beautiful beef noodle soup. The beef was so tender and literally melted in your mouth.
The overall pricing was also very reasonable. It came to $600 hkd (approx. $85 AUD/ $75 USD) and this included two glasses of wine. Very reasonable given the quality, level of service and sheer deliciousness of the meal.
Note that they do get busy and we saw a massive line when walking past the other night. However it is a place that is worth the wait. Go. You won't be disappointed. Your taste buds will love you for it!
Highly, absolutely, 100 percent recommended.
