This is the place to stay in Hong Kong.
No doubt.
Clean. Friendly service. A good enough breakfast is included.
If you are looking for an excellent place to stay with a very good value-price factor, this is your place.
Rooms are not big but we didn't feel unconfortable at all.
Just the basic good stuff you need from a good hotel.
With the money saved you can go for a great shopping experiencia across the street.
Mtr station is within three minute walk.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Causeway Bay for a short work trip. Loved the location, just next to Times Square with the MTR station, shops and eateries at your doorstep.

The room was spacious for HK standards, with the standard amenities, a comfortable bed and free wifi. Some of the furniture needed an update, the TV was tiny and old-fashioned, the sofa a little worn out and my desk chair was unbalanced. The bathroom was modern and clean, but the towels were thin and old. These things didnt bother me much as I was out most of the time, but
don't stay here if you're fussy about your breakfast or expect high quality rooms.

All in all a decent budget stay considering the location and price, just know what to expect and you'll be fine with it!

Hotel is beside Times Square. Airport shuttle bus doesn't service this hotel, but getting to the hotel is still quite convenient. From HK Station, take MTR and get off at Causeway Bay MTR Station, take Exit A to Times Square, follow direction to Lane Crawford ground level, cut across the cosmetics /perfumery section of Lane Crawford; hotel is just across the street. Lobby is at the 1st level. Several restaurants (not owned nor managed by Holiday Inn) in the same building as the hotel. Restos here are a bit pricey. Room is good-sized. Clean. We got the room with queen size bed and sofa bed. Bed is somewhat hard, which is normal in Asia. Pillows are comfortable, with options for hard or soft. Bed linen is a bit used, but still fine. I noticed two holes / patches with loose threads. Toilet is of a comfortable size and clean. Shower might be a bit tight for bigger people. Towels are worn out with several holes.
Hotel is in a very good location. The flagship branch of Uniqlo is being built nearby. Sogo and Hysan Place are less than 5 minutes away. A 24-hour Welcome supermarket is also within walking distance. The big Taiwanese bookstore Eslite is here in the Hysan Place. Victoria Park, Food street, Windsor, Ikea...all walking distance. The hotel is value for money. We will stay here again.

Situated behind Times Square makes in really convenient to get to from the airport and around HK. Airport Express is easily the best way to Hong Kong Island then MTR to Causeway Bay and the hotel is 2 mins. Bit of a building site around the hotel but should be improving quite quickly.
Check-in - easy and quick and after a long day travelling this is just what you want
Room - good size with large bed and crisp linen, pillows are excellent. Sofa (sofa-bed) was a bit rickety and wouldn't have wanted to sleep on it but did give somewhere to sit. Desk and chair with kettle & 2 bottles of water but the water from the tap is fine once boiled, Take some coffee sticks if you like your coffee as although there are two sachets with kettle the two together dont make one mug. One thing that did surprise me was the old CRT television in the room with quite a small screen, I would expect a larger flat screen from HK where techno is king! Plenty of English channels (including the old standby BBC World) and some movie channels.
Bathroom - quite small but some toiletries, shower and loo. Plenty of towels.
Facilities - none really, there are a couple of restaurants in the hotel but didn't really appeal.
Breakfast - included but not up to much but the coffee is good.
Nearby MTR station will take you anywhere around HK island or Kowloon. Tram stop 2 minutes walk, great value HK$2.30 for any length of trip, will take you to central for escalators etc.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, during the easter weekend 2013. The hotel is well located behind Times Square mall, makes is convenient to do some shopping and also there is MTR entrance at TS, just walk 2 mins and you're there. the other shops are near by : Kai Chung street which is behind Hysan Palace (good restaurants inside), and Sogo. Ladies, beware! There is even a handbag shops at hotel ground floor selling branded bags, new and 2nd hand. if you walk out and turn behind the hotel, there is a nice coffee shop the Coffee Academy, nice place and nice coffee! also has a restaurant above it. the hotel itself has a good japanese restaurant just next to the reception desk, very handy on rainy days and when your kids just too tired to walk to find food.hotel facilities quite standard. the hotel room that we stayed got a sofa bed, which make good for 4. As long as you don't mind the thin unfolded sofa, and there's no extra sheet and blanket for using the sofa bed. Our room comes with breakfast which is simple breakfast, you can choose from 4 set menu. Good enough to start the day with.
