was very pleased today after visiting repulse bay. the bus from central (number 260, or you can take 6) was only 20 minutes, and there were showers and changing facilities. there are also strategically planted trees that you can lie underneath. swimming in the water was fun, but it was green and very salty. the best part was the view! so gorgeous!

Some of my family live in the Repulse Bay area so I visit the beach alot when I travel to HK. This beach is very large and has some trees if you need shade. Shark nets all round and a few pontoons you can swim out too. At one end of the beach is a pavillion and the other end is a chinese shrine - worth a walk to see. Some cafes, shops and supermarkets near the beach if you need lunch, water refills, snacks, ice cream - you name it!

The walk from Repulse Bay to Deep Water Bay lets you take in the view of one of the most scenic coast-lines of Hong Kong and also trees and flowers along the way.

See the rich of HK people living - there are nice areas to stop by and eat and rest. The ride can be challenging - I had motion sickness
