Owner description: Beautiful, quiet serene place located in the middle of the city. Small zoo with many exhibits. Great way to relax from shopping and sight seeing.

This is a great public zoo. You must remember it is a zoo (caged animals) but all the animals are in such great condition and everything is so well maintained. We were surprised by the variety of animals (orangutans, lots of birds and "monkeys", many flamingoes),the lovely gardens and the space in such a small city. And it is all free. Amazing.

Monkeys! Loved the monkeys! There's also birds, GIANT turtles, a herb garden telling you how to prepare different herbs and their uses, and a fountain for a photo op. Worthwhile

Such an amazing escape in the city, A peaceful and carefully preserved garden in the heart of the city with also an abundance of wildlife on display and all for free! The monkeys definitely looked like they were happy and having a good time and the animals looked well cared for and in good health, The gardens were just such a surprising visit and was certainly a great place to spend a few hours in a city in most part lacks green space and tranquility. The facilities were also clean and also the gardens themselves. I would imagine the gardens are busy during summer but i visited during winter and it was very quiet with only really families and couples taking strolls around the gardens, A very beautiful place and i hope they continue to preserve such nature and wildlife in an ever concrete world.

If anyone has a complaint about this location, well, they're an idiot. It's free and it's beautiful. I didn't expect so much wildlife to be present for free admission. My wife did suffer a heavy amount of bug bites though so just a small piece of advice - prepare your skin as we did not :(
Take lots of photos, say hi to the monkeys for me, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon at this location :)
