We stayed at Hong Disneyland Hotel while Cyclone Vincent hit the town, and it was such a fortunate decision, especially since travelling with our energetic four year old darling..
Although Disneyland was closed, the hotel was full of amazing things to do and see (and buy, of course), so our 48 hour transit stop was still bliss despite the weather.
The character breakfast is a must, do not go home without it! The activity room for children is also brilliantly run!! It's worth spending a little bit extra on the ocean view room with a balcony (in our case it was a complimentary upgrade - good for a cyclone :-) ) for your own pleasure.
Close to the airport, a perfect location for a brief stopover.
