This was our first visit to HK. We couldn't have picked a better hotel to explore this wonderful city and it's surrounds. True, if you can afford it go the executive club rooms. We were lucky enough to get a club corner harbour view and what a view it is. From the room and also the bathroom wow!!! So the room may not be 5 star but it was clean enough, large by Asian standards and as stated before what a view. Fantastic to just chill out and watch the Harbour in all it's busy glory, while resting from our discoveries of the day.
The club staff are first class and don't seem as stressed as the staff in the Lobby. The bullet lift for club guests is the only way to go. Drinks, canapies and breakfast, while not the best we've had were fine. The value is definitely there, in comparison to other options on both sides of the Harbour.
The closeness to many bars, restaurants, the markets of Kowloon and ferries is a huge plus.
When we go back to HK we'll go back to The Panorama

This hotel is very nice but the design of the rooms is starting to show their age. Our room was clean and on a corner so we had a view out to the harbor and east. The view was fantastic at night of both the harbor and the buildings on Hong Kong island. We booked a club room. Afternoon drinks and nibbles in the club lounge were average.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room to get a better view. The club option was great

This place is about 100 meters from the MTR, it made navigating the city in the rain so much easier, you can travel to many of the shopping areas without getting wet. The room itself was nice, a little dated, what made it special was tthe fantastic view. I paid extra for a club room which included breakfast and afternoon drinks and canapes, it is worth it for the breakfast but the afternoon canape selection was very poor, 2-3 deep fried dishes and a plate of biscuits. i boooked this on a special and for the price it was good value for HK but i dont know if i would pay full price to stay here in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The hotel is in a good location, pretty central in Tsim Sha Tsui. Was offered an upgrade for an unreasonable price and the were not negotiable with the price so we declined. We booked in with 4 people but were only given 2 towels, and we booked a breakfast inclusive deal, only to be told that breakfast was for 2 people only. Despite this, they kept wanting to charge me for all breakfasts and had to argue with the staff each of the six days we stayed here. The breakfast was good but not a large variety and the same things everyday.

This isn't a bad hotel, just don't expect anything extra from the staff.

If you are after a good clean central hotel and want to keep to yourself then this is a good hotel. If you are after any extra services or any help then this is probably not the hotel for you. We stayed as a family and while this is a business focused hotel, the rooms were ok for a family. We stayed in a silver room which is a city view and would not recommend it as they are small. We have previously stayed in their gold rooms which are much better and more spacious.

This was the second time we have stayed at Panorama by Rhombus and if we return to Hong Kong, will certainly stay again. Hong Kong by its very nature is hot, humid, crowded and noisy but the Panorama Hotel is a haven of air conditioned calm and good service. Everything about this hotel is first class, the service, the friendly and helpful staff, the food and the marvellous view over Hong Kong harbour. We were offered an upgrade to Club Lounge for a very reasonable price and are glad we took it as it enabled use of the Club Lounge on the 34th floor with complimentary drinks and nibbles and all day coffee, tea and snacks, free breakfast with no restriction, free wifi and late check-out which was great as we had a late flight.. It was just what we needed between two long haul flights from Paris to Auckland. A good rest and nice people to look after us.

Room Tip: Club Harbour view are always best.

Just to start by saying that I spent HOURS reviewing Trip Advisor before booking this hotel - THIS HOTEL EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.
For a medium price hotel you will not get any better (probably struggle in one's charging a lot more too).
As recommended by others here I upgraded to an executive room - with access to the lounge, free wifi and a STUNNING harbour view. We were lucky enough to get room 13 on the 37th floor - WOW that view from the room and the bathroom was spectacular.
A couple of points - check in was quick and efficient - our bags taken from us as we walked in the door before being escorted up to the executive check-in on the 39th floor. Bags were with us as we were still open mouthed looking out of our floor to ceiling windows!
A lot has been said about the disappointing breakfast - we thought that it was great (again with an amazing view from the 38th floor). Lots of choice with hot food changed daily. Ok sometimes it was not always the hottest but this is buffet style.
Complimentary drinks each night (what more can you say - free wine, selection of spirits and beer) along with hors d'oeuvres - replenished throughout the evening. (Did see some grumpy old bloke shouting at the staff as some of the nibbles had ran out - give them a chance!!)
Finally location - fantastic! Right on top of the entrance to the MTR (N1 and N2 - 1stairs 2 escalator) may be a slight trek to the train but all on travelators. Avenue of stars just around the corner - lovely walk to the Star Ferry if you fancy going over the water rather than under it! Loads of restaurants, bars etc in the locale but the transport links means that you have access to everywhere.
Tip - walk onto avenue of stars and turn left - there are some lovely restaurants along there - on the other side of the road.
Late check out (12.00) and Concierge ran out to the main road to hail us a cab!
An excellent stay and would definitely return to Panorama by Rhombus - would recommend to all.

My third stay at this hotel. This time an executive harbour view room on the 36th floor for 8 nights. First time in Sept 2009, the second early May this year.
I still can't understand why I was told by a staff, a middle-aged gentleman, to line up at the hotel reception counter on the first floor even after I informed him that I booked an executive floor room. From experience, I know that guests with executive room bookings check in on the 39th floor. I waited in line, which was thankfully short, only to be told that I should check in, yes, on the 39th floor! This was not the first time it happened to me. It was annoying to say the least. What if it had been a long queue?
Hotel: Great view on the high-floor rooms and great location. Near underground station (cut through K11 shopping mall to get to the trains faster), plenty of shops, restaurants, watering holes all within walking distance. Save on laundry, there's one just opposite the hotel entrance.
Staff: Polite, attentive and helpful. Especially housekeeping. But breakfast time at AVA or the first floor, they're too busy to even give you a smile. Concierge deserves special mention. They're a credit to the hotel. Helpful and attentive.
Rooms: Not big, but not small either. Great views but tiny bathroom. Real tiny. And no hangers for your clothes/towels in the bathroom. Just the racks or rails where they are draped. This is so far the only hotel bathroom I have come across that does not have a hanger. How about fixing one behind the door.
Beds and bedding: Hard bed, just like I like them. Hard and soft pillows provided. Kudos.
Executive lounge: It does not have enough room to accommodate guests when the exec rooms are fully booked. Especially if the meeting room is occupied and cannot be opened up to cater to hotel guests. The evening canapes and drinks can do with a bit of variety and improvement. Most nights, it's mainly fried stuff.
Overall, you get value for your money and there are no major shortcomings. Don't set your expectations too high and you won't be disappointed. Just about meets the four-star rating.
