Agree totally with the previous reviewer from New Jersey that this is truly a first class property. Also the criticism of the lobby lounge I fully endorse, as it is a bit characterless and bland. I paid for breakfast at this lounge and it was very ordinary for what they charge.

Having said that, the spa is wonderful and the treatments after a long flight sheer bliss and great value in a heavenly ambiance. I most certainly will return. I cannot help but quote a saying by Gucci, with regard to the FSHK ,that quality is truly remembered, long after price is forgotton

We spent 4 night at the FSHK. According to my friends in HK this is regarded as the best hotel in town. I agree
We arrived late and were given a Harbor view room. The quality of the rooms was truly excellent. I don't think the pictures convey the quality of the materials used. I can only imagine how many forests were felled and mountains mined for all the beautiful woodwork and marble throughout the property.
Someone mentioned the icy staff - yes some were less than warm but all were efficient.
The lobby and "lounge" were a bit character less. Lots of marble and light but no real decor.
The pool is truly spectacular. Probably the best i have ever seen.
I normally never swim in hotel pools but this was different.
Lung King Heen has 3 Michelin stars. For breakfast it was excellent. Dinner on the other hand was good but not worthy of 3 stars or the price.
I highly recommend the FSHK and would absolutly return.

This hotel is why I am a Four Seasons Fan! It is one of the most impressive city hotels that I have ever stayed in - incredible. Where do I start?

The standard rooms are very spacious and the decor is tasteful and calming. We had an Executive Club Peak-View room that had a great view of the city skyscrapers through the floor to ceiling windows. I would HIGHLY recommend to book a room on the Executive Club floor as it was the best club lounge that I have ever experienced. A great tip is to do what we did and book a Peak-View room on the Club floor as the Club itself has the most amazing views and a balcony that looks over Victoria Harbour. As we spent a lot of time in the Club, we didn't miss the view of the harbour from our room. The quality and choice of complimentary food and drink in the Club was great (especially the Veuve Clicquot Champagne) making the room excellent value for money, considering the savings from drinking at the main bar at the hotel.

The other highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool. It's hard to imagine a more impressive infinity pool area in any city - it is worth the price of admission alone. It goes without saying that the service at the Four Seasons was excellent. It is the service that really separates the chain from other hotels and it is evident that the staff have been extremely well trained. Upon check-out, I was presented with a nice card and gift from the staff after they had discovered that it was my birthday. The staff are so friendly and really do go the extra mile for guests.

In summary, definitely book a room on the Executive Club level and make sure that you allow for plenty of time in the pool area. The Four Seasons is in a great location and is a perfect base for exploring this fascinating city. Highly recommended.

Having stayed at the hotel for 8 days, i could say i know this hotel very well!

Arriving at the hotel the door staff were very friendly! and actually lots of the staff, must of heard, "well come to the four seasons," 10 times.

Room was very nice, the entertainment channels are very good selection, beds comfortable. However my first problems start here. As a hotel aimed as business people in the internet could be a least cheap or free! Also the bathroom design was not good, The toilet seat was very werid i its design so hard to sit on and there is quite and big gap between the bathroom doors so you can see people in the bathroom using the shower and the door doesn't have a lock. That means older siblings sharing the room like me means you can't go any where near the bathroom in the room like the wardrobes in a twin room.

The food at the hotel was very nice, Caprice was amazing even though expensive the portions were large and teh staff were very friendly. Lung king heen, best chinese restaurant in the world was nice, good to have lunch there as you don't have to dress up loads. The lounge was nice for breakfast, though from 250 HK$ you can get a lot of stuff! so not recommnated even you are a light eater!

Now the best thing about the hotel... the pool!!!! it is amazing espically in summer if you go there then. Its such a haven, with amazing views and service, you do feel like you are on hoilday! the underwater speakers though are a bit quiet, but would stay at Four Seasons again just for the pool.

The location of the hotel being near the IFC mall is good, even though as being visiting hong kong for family for a long time, their are better malls such as Times square and Pacific Place.

Now the staff at Four seasons is very mixed, some a very nice and friendly such as housekeeping, however then some staff a very cold and icy, which sorts of changes the atmosphere espically in the lobby were most of the time is lacked atmosphere expect when it was full of guest for a wedding party (there were lots!).

overall enjoyed the stay at four seasons and would definitly think about staying there again in hong kong!

  • Liked — The Pool!!!!! and some of the staff
  • Disliked — the icy staff and bathroom design

The Four Seasons is a personal favourite of mine. Every Hotel of this incredibly efficient hotel group provides their customers with a lovely experience that always leaves me leaving refreshed and relaxed. Having stayed at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills and Sharm El Sheik (THE BEST), this Hotel Group has been consistently brilliant.

The rooms, the staff, the level of service....all are excellent. Our room in HK was spacious, comfortable on a luxurious level, well lit (floor to ceiling windows over looking Hong Kong) and had an incredible bathroom, You always feel like you have "arrived" when you stay at the Four. They also have a large infinity pool area with fantastic views over the city and the staff are so welcoming.

I cant recommend this (or any of their other hotels enough). They are the epitome of excellence and I would/have recommend them to everyone!

We got engaged during our 2 night stay at the Four Seasons for New Years 2009 and every moment was complete perfection! This hotel -- its rooms, restaurants, spa, gym, pool -- is a heavenly oasis in a busy, crowded, bustling city. Our room on the 35th floor had a beautiful harbor view and the hotel management clearly pays attention to every detail, from the setup of the rooms to the service. Because the hotel management knew that this was our engagement stay, they placed a bottle of chilled champagne in our room for our arrival and then followed by delivering a miniature wedding cake and box of chocolates. They also prepared a special bath for us with fragrant oils and rose petals.

We booked a one-hour massage in the couples room which was in a pod-like room that overlooked the beautiful pool area. The service at the gym and spa is seamless and calming and the spa setup was intimate but spacious, with attention to details like chilled wet towels, bottles of Fiji water, and pitchers of different types of cold teas and juices. We left the spa completely relaxed and at peace.

The concierge service is the most attentive of any hotel we've ever stayed at. Betty at the concierge desk went above and beyond what we expected to get us information about some hikes we wanted to go on, printing out maps and information and having the information delivered to our room.

We had booked a bed and breakfast package, so we had breakfast at The Lounge and Lung King Heen. Both had great food and beautiful views. We also enjoyed lunch at Caprice, which was a beautifully designed restaurant that was modern, open and bright. We loved the views, open kitchen, beautiful Swarovski chandelier and details above the kitchen, and contemporary white and gold tableware. The food was comparable to the best food we've had in Paris, both in presentation and taste, and we have only compliments about the service, which was attentive but not overbearing.

Thank you Four Seasons Hong Kong, Shinichi, Quentin and the rest of the staff for an unforgettable and perfect engagement stay!!

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Everything about the hotel is 5 stars - the restaurants, the bar, exercise room, pool (with a view of the harbor), service, location and the rooms and suites. Book rooms with a harbor view. The view is incredible. Conveniently located in the Central District so lots of shopping, restaurants. Easy to walk everywhere.
