“Best in HK, one of the best in the world”

This hotel really has it all. Fantastic service, (though that is typical of HK hotels) an unsurpassed location and convenient connections to the rest of HK. Immaculate rooms and a hotel pool that is as memorable as it is famous.

On a recent business trip I stayed several nights at this hotel. The location is very convenient as it is close to many business meetings and it is very close to the airport train express which remains an excellent service especially taking into account the lousy taxis that Hong Kong has to offer.Rooms are large and of 5 star quality - no complaints here. However I only rate this hotel very good due to the food/bar/lounge options. If you want the " buffet" breakfast option then you are offered the bar option - ie bar stools or if you are lucky with regards to availability there is seating by the sofa seats - neither are very practical. All restaurants in the Four Season complex are very expensive so don't expect value for money. There is a decent lobby lounge with food and drinks - unfortunately the view of the harbour is non-existent as it is on ground level.

I want to live here. By far one of the best hotels I've stayed at in the world.

Excellent service, wonderful food, pool is amazing and spa just heavenly. If you want to be pampered in HK, this is the place to stay. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel.

Also steps away from Lane Crawford, IFC mall for shopping. 10 min walk to Star ferry terminal for easy access to Kowloon.

Having stayed here a number of times on business I decided to book with my family. Same usual excellent service with great personal attention for the family - adjoining rooms, each guest acknowledged, small gifts for my sons, great courtesy at every turn. Well done Four Seasons!

Just a few words about the place... Very good rooms, attentive professional service, warm atmosphere, excellent views and location, relaxing pool on the 6th floor roof. Just what you need for business and leisure. The only small difficulty, - sometimes you have to wait a the entrance for a taxi longer than it could be expected. However, it's not a real drawback.

Room Tip: High floor, strait view

I love this hotel. Have stayed at Peninsula and Ritz as well, and of course they're hardly shabby, but the 4S Hong Kong has everything one could need, is better situated (the others are in Kowloon), and has exquisite service. The rooms are tastefully decorated with art and fine furniture, have well-stocked minibars and Nespresso machines, spectacular views of the harbor, and beautiful marble bathrooms (themselves stocked with bath crystals, amenities, loofas, etc). The maid service is so good that they leave you a laptop screen-cleaning cloth in a package, with an apologetic note about not doing it themselves because they want to respect your privacy! The turn-down people leave not a chocolate on the pillow, but a box of chocolates. There's a 3-Michelin star restaurant in the hotel (Caprice) and a huge luxury shopping mall you can get to without going outside if the weather's bad. I can't imagine how any part of the experience could be better (unless they comped the rooms :-) ). If you are on one of the club floors, the breakfast buffet in the club room on the 45th floor is fantastic, and again the service is impeccable. One of the best hotels this traveler has ever stayed in.

An utter delight of a hotel! I am often critical but my experience here left me - almost- nothing to carp about! Thoroughly professional service, all the appropriate touches. Blue bar buffet breakfast was superb (breakfast in the lounge was pretty poor - my single complaint). Perfect location - easily walkable to many areas of usual interest, easy cab ride to others. Spa massage upon evening arrival from NY was lovely and LKH dinner was the best of the trip. Pool, as mentioned in earlier reviews, has a lovely view, as do waterfront harbor view rooms. The panorama is spectacular and one of the few places where the extra price for a view is truly worthwhile. While the Mandarins and the Pen are lovely, the FS is for me, the place to which I will surely return. A final note - I forgot my small bag of chargers/cables and by the time I got to the airport I had an e-mail from hotel security asking if they should send them to me. I gratefully accepted and they arrived at my home the day after I did. A final, final note - do take advantage of the hotel transfer service. It was lovely to be met right at the gate after the long flight and taken directly to customs - avoiding what would have been quite a long walk - and then brought right to my driver. On the return the driver turned me over to the airport facilitator who was helpful in getting a clearance tag for my slightly larger than permitted carry-on (note that airport security has more stringent standards than do the airlines). The service was, like everything else at the hotel, well done and flawless.
