I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. FS is a luxury city hotel with modern amenities. I used the pool and fitness center every day. Fitness center was adequate and I really enjoyed the pool which had a lap pool, regular pool, and jacuuzi. The ambiance is really nice around the pool. I also had dinner in the highly rated Chinese restaurant and it was fantastic. Rooms are normal city size and very well appointed. They are modern. Personally, I prefer the old school colonial style of Mandarin Oriental. MO has a unique feel while FS has a typical luxury city hotel feel. The upside to FS is the view of the harbor; MO doesn't have a view.
I highly recommend using FS's airport transfer service. They met me right at the arrival gate and whisked me off on a golf cart for 10 minutes to immigration; I must have saved 30 minutes as it was a long walk and they took me to the immigration line with the shortest cue.
For the room rate, seems to me they could include internet. My room rate at MO included internet and breakfast. I got neither at FS.
All in all, very nice hotel and service. I still like MO over FS partly due to breakfast and internet connection, however, you can't go wrong with either.More
