“Too many Hawkers”

A good stretch for shopping but plagued with men accosting you in the street trying to sell shirts and watches and whatever- it became extremely annoying in the end.

“Colourful by night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2014

A walk along Nathan Road at any time is a shopper's delight, but by night the overhead neon signs make it a captivating place.

“Diverse street”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2014

Nathan Road is the main artery through Kowloon an goes from the tip of TST right up through to Sham Shui Po. At the bottom you encounter Chungking Mansions and at the top urban decay. It has a variety of things to see, but when all is said and done it is mostly a busy road that starts with touts for tailors, passes shops selling dried fish and ends with a few local businesses. You will need to go here in your time in HK, but don't make it a major part of your itinerary.

“A long walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2014

A very long walk exploring all the shops and restaurants, its gets annoying with the hawkers wanting you to buy suits, and copy but once you clear the harbour they disappear, but that’s all part of the charm of this crowded street. Follow it all the way down to the Flower market, the Bird market, Goldfish market. There are MRT stations along the way if you get tired. And sometimes if feels like the whole world is walking along the street.

“Shops, more shops and Indian Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

We are from South Africa and really struggled to get food we could put down. Our hotel was on Nathan road so we would head out shopping at nights. Indian restaurants were a life saver having spent our days eatings snacks to survive. Plenty shopping and street markets.
