Recently renovated, clean, good breakfast, logical prices, nice spot to see everything in HK. I have visit this hotel more than 5 times and I can say for sure that is a safe choice for business & pleasure trips.

Room Tip: Higher than 14th floor Jockey club side. The view is better. Nice Bar in the 20th floor.

We stayed here for four nights in late June. I’d booked a family room, and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a one-bedroom suite (with two beds in the lounge area). The room is recently renovated and has a spacious, modern feel. We found the staff to be very polite and helpful.
It’s a 10-15 minute walk to Times Square in Causeway Bay, but most of the walk is alongside some very busy and noisy roads. Make full use of the shuttle buses the hotel provides.
It was annoying that the minibar was so full of snacks and drinks that there was no room to put private purchases that need to be kept cool, such as a carton of milk. I realise a lot of people use the minibar contents, but perhaps there should be an option to have the minibar cleared for the duration of their stay for people who do not want to use this facility (especially if travelling with children).

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of Causeway Bay.

The hotel is generally okay.
Just to share my experience, I think maybe the check-in staff is still young and inexperience.

Normal check-in, when it comes to the deposit, we wanted to give cash instead of credit card.
Let me quote her, "that would be 6,000 SGD". (FYI, she is asking for USD 4,800).
We corrected her and she insisted for like 5 min. The story ended with her colleague beside her correcting.

No bath tub - we have a toddler so bathtub was important.

The Good:
There is Wifi in the room.
The view from the room was good
Many timing for the shelter bus

Overall : I will not booked the same hotel again

Trying to find rooms in Hong Kong that can fit a family isn't particularly easy so I was happy to find this hotel. The price is good by Hong Kong standards and the staff are very helpful. I couldn't get wifi to work which was mildly annoying but the room did include an Android phone that you could take with you with free phone calls and internet access. The location is very convenient for the football stadium and racecourse and about a 10 minute walk to Times Square and Causeway Bay.

Booked this hotel as it is one of the few in HK that offer two double beds in a room. Did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The staff, especially Ronald at the front office were very helpful. They offered help with planning routes and advice on taxi fares, bus numbers etc. The kids got welcome packs and were very happy with the wifi and phone provided in the room. Shopping and food are in walking distance and the hotel provides shuttles to various locations.
Breakfast could do with some variety, an egg station or something, it is a bit boring.
I recommend this hotel and would use it again myself.

Check in - When we checked it we immediately advised the receptionist that we will be paying the security deposit in cash. We were then asked to present the credit card used in booking for verification. The receptionist suddenly swiped our credit card, so why, and was informed that they will just get the pin. When we were about to pay the security deposit we were suddenly informed that they already charged it to our credit card, so we were really surprised because we made it clear right from the start, so the staff stamped the charge slip with cancelled and was informed that this will be clear within 2-3 weeks. We paid the deposit in cash afterwards. By 12noon our room was ready and was given a suite instead of a family room, free of charge, due to the inconvenienced they've caused.

Customer Service - Needs improvement, as there's no personnel who opens the door for you, especially that we are traveling with a child and a senior citizen and we have a lot of luggages and a pram. But, the staff who calls the cab was very helpful as they help us inform the driver where we would like to go.

Housekeeping - Excellent, as they've kept our rooms clean and the toiletries & tea/coffee supplies and replenished on time.

TV shows - very limited, specially for the kids, as they only have cartoon network, which is a not-so-friendly channel.

Elevator - Small

Accessibility - Since we are traveling with a child & senior we always took a cab.

Restaurants - Very few choices, so before coming back to the hotel, we have to ensure that we've either eaten our dinner or have bought something to eat.

Room - Spacious and very clean. My child really loved the room and slept really well.

Checking out - Very fast check out and we got the refund for our security deposit. We just hope that we won't be charged on our credit card due to the miss we have mentioned above during our check in.

Location - Not so accessible to the tourist spots.
Overall, we had a great stay and

Dear Melo D,

Thank you for your valuable feedbacks. First of all, please accept our apology for the inconvenience caused to you upon check-in. Rest assured that the concerned staff has been reminded so as to avoid the same from happening again. We hope the free room upgrade did make your stay a great one this time. We will also reinforce training to all the front line staff so that excellent service is delivered under any circumstances.

On the other hand, your comments towards our TV channels are well noted. We are currently reviewing it and will definitely consider your suggestions.
