Clean and perfect location, next door to the Wan Chai Metro station. Bars, pubs, restaurants and night clubs in the area. Room was very small, definitely too tiny for 2 people but this is Hong Kong and overall I'm very satisfied

Stayed here November 2013 for business and admittedly thought the area a bit rubbish when I arrived late at night and saw the neon light bars. But actually it's all pretty harmless and just a ruse to get western guys to pay exorbitant prices for beer, and in the day you wouldn't have a clue. So... don't go to the bars :) but really good location for the subway - right next door - and the Hong Kong subway is awesome. And it seemed good value for a boutique hotel in HK. Yes rooms are small for sure - the whole hotel is tiny - but it's clean and modern - and is a good spot for breakfast spots western or local. I'd probably stay again on business if Central was too expensive.

I booked Brighton Hotel for a 2 night stay in Dec 2014 along with my mum. We had pre-booked the cheapest category. When we arrived, we were told that we were being upgraded and had one of the top floors, which was awesome. Check in and out were both smooth and seamless.

Location-wise, this is just a 30 second walk from the MTR exit and about 5 minutes' walk away from the airport bus stop. Eateries and pubs surround the hotel all round and the streets are never quite empty. Although there is some sleaze, but my mum and I never at anytime felt unsafe.

You need an access card for the lift to activate the floor which your room is on. 2 lifts, tall, narrow building so takes a bit of time to get up and down. The rooms are newly furbished and while small, as is the norm for most budget/mid-priced hotels in Hong Kong, are well appointed. The queen sized bed was comfy and the rain shower was hot and powerful, the way I like it. Everything is spanking new and good value for money. Although the room description included hair dryer in all rooms, we did not find 1 in ours. I suspect it might be a case of having to procure it from reception or room service. That's my only grouse. Rooms are relatively soundproof and housekeeping was diligent.

This is better suited for the business traveller valuing location, solo and younger couples on a mid-ranged budget.

All in all, a good experience and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The rooms are very small, but the location is great -- right next to the subway entrance. The block has a lot of strip joints, but there are also lots of great restaurants. The staff was quite helpful getting some items posted for me. The one downer, was the fire alarm went off one morning, and I ran down 16 flights of stairs only to be told that it had gone off in error. I was a little taken aback that the management hadn't gone up to my floor and let people know that there was in fact no emergency.

The hotel is right in the middle of the red light district of Hong Kong. Central but very spooky at night. Service is OK, but no breakfast is available. Rooms are extremely small and unconfortable. I would not go back!

Stayed here 2 nights and found the hotel had everything we needed. Firstly the location is unbeatable for getting around and seeing HK sights. Right next door to the MTR, 10-15 walk to the waterfront to watch the nightly light show and to get to the ferries. Restaurants all at the doorstop including a lovely bakery opposite for breakfast, Yes there are night clubs up and down the street but we felt safe walking around late at night and was not bothered at all.
We got the hotel to organise the airport transfer for us which was perfect and good value. Staff were polite and helpful and checkin went smooth. We booked a standard room which yes was small but all rooms in HK are small. It was spotlessly clean, lovely crisp bedding and had everything we wanted. The shower pressure was fantastic and we had tea and coffee facilities in the room.
I would really recommend this hotel for location and is perfect for a short stopover. Really good value and has everything you need.

Stayed here for 4 days on a recent holiday to Hong Kong. This is a boutique hotel, it is quite small but if you only want it to sleep in it's fine. It is clean and modern with daily service. The lobby is on the third floor. Once you check in you never see the staff - no concierge. It is in the Clubbing district - Girlies Clubs opposite which can be a bit noisy at night. Great location to the MRT with one or two stations to see different parts of Hong Kong.
