The Chi Lin Nunnery was a haven of peace and beauty amid the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. The Buddhist Nunnery is easily reached by public transport and is well worth the effort. I loved the bonsai trees, they're everywhere and it feels like there are hundreds of them. Add in water lily ponds and water falls and let the serenity flow over you. There is also a small café, a gift shop and a vegetarian restaurant located behind a waterfall. I spent over two hours wandering around and sitting in contemplation. This was one of my favourite Hong Kong experiences.
