“Pristine garden”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

A pristine garden - well manicured - green respite from HK's bustling streets. Could do with some more places to sit and take in the gardeners art.
Easy to reach from down town by metro and only a short walk from the metro station at Diamond Hill.

“Great and peaceful”

It is free to visit and the gardens and main temple are immaculate. A wonderful way to spend a few hours of your day away from the hustle of Hong Kong. Lovely.

“An Oasis in HK”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

Unexpected oasis in a very busy area of HK. You would never know it was there. Well worth a visit.

In contrast to the traditional buildings and artefacts, the modern block paving which covered extensive areas slightly took away its 'era'.

“Stunning and spiritual”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

A few steps away from a busy road, but so tranquil and beautiful. One of the highlights of my trip to Hong Kong, it's a must see place in conjunction with the Nan Lian Gardens. Simple to find being well signposted from the MTR and then only a five minute walk.

The building itself is incredible having been built without use of a nail, and I loved the collection of bonsai. There's also a gift shop selling quality items and refreshments are available.

“Gorgeous Chinese buildings”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

Definitely worth the time to go check it out if you like architecture. Great opportunities for pictures. Also, it wasn’t crowded and very peaceful (at least when we were there). The gardens right next to it are also well worth the time to walk through.
