We were walking around Kennedy Town and came across this small trattoria. Host was very nice and welcoming and menu looked fresh and interesting so decided to get our dinner there.
We started with the mozzarella caprese, which was fresh and drizzled with just the right amount of balsamic vinegar. Slightly sweet, tart and creamy all at once, and a great start to a meal.
I ordered the clam and chorizo spaghetti and fiancee ordered the salmon. I thought the spaghetti tasted great and sauce was delicious. She like the salmon, and thought it was done just right (meaning not too overcooked, like in many places in Hong Kong), and was flavorful, tender and not dry.
Overall a great Italian place and worth checking out.
One downside is the street outside, where trams would often line up right in front of the restaurant. They tend to block the view to the street and make the place feel a bit small. However, this is just a small thing to note, and definitely more than made up by the excellent food and on-point service.
