I cannot say enough good things about this new boutique hotel. Everything is right about it. The location is wonderfully convenient to excellent restaurants, historical sites, shopping (on Star, Moon and Sun Streets where they have lovely little boutiques with luxury items that are small and lightweight for packing), and to an MTR station less than two short blocks away. The rooms are beautifully appointed and designed much like many Asian hotels, but with more state of the art details such as push buttons for opening and closing window covers. The black-out curtains are very welcome after a long flight, and so is the absolute peace and quiet. The housekeeping is second to none. My room was cleaned meticulously and early in the day so it was refreshed at all times.
Because I walked and traveled around Hong Kong and Kowloon extensively every day, I started each day with the breakfast in the hotel dining room called the Post Cafe. They offered both Chinese and western breakfasts, complete with an egg bar where eggs were cooked to order. There was a variety of juices, fruits, bakery items, sausage, ham, cheeses served buffet style in a small and lovely setting. The coffee is especially good.
The best feature of this hotel, however, is the staff. They were extremely attentive at all times, anticipating every request I could have made. They were friendly, helpful and completely professional.
I have stayed in luxury hotels in major cities during my many years of travel. But this little jewel of a hotel stands out among all my experiences. I will recommend this to anyone I know who plans to visit Hong Kong. And I would never stay anywhere else.
