Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location in wanchai, friendly professional attentive staff, amazing roof top pool and bar, rooms are very tastefully designed and functional with unique furniture pieces that makes you feel your not in a hotel room

We were lucky to stay in this hotel on the first day after it's grand opening. In addition to funky interiors & deco, I've really enjoyed the fact, that we were one of the first to live in a given room. All of in-room devices worked surprisingly well for a newly opened property; unfortunately, high floors and much-boasted "cantilevered and glass-bottomed infinity pool" & Skybar were still closed (hotel staff told, that they've expected pool & bar to be ready in May - June time frame).

Hotel surroundings are typical for Wan Chai - primarily, hotel is surrounded by rather old & shabby buildings, so, I can't say that view from our room (15th floor) was spectacular. Although there are several historical buildings nearby, I'd expect a better view from a hotel of this price category.

The staff was very friendly & helpful, especially the concierge; since I'm PC platinum member, we were upgraded to deluxe room. As I've already mentioned, room interior is funky, but functional ( modern interior layout mixt with typical Chinese artifacts - lanterns, figurines) , with a number of small perks (Nespresso coffee machine, designer LED lamp on desk, great acoustic system, automatic curtains with several levels of dimming, etc.) Interiors are suitable for couples, but not suitable for families - probably, families with children would prefer something more practical.

I believe, that sooner or later this hotel would occupy it's position within top-50 HK hotels. Would definitely stay here again, once all of amenities are finally up&running(now, looks more , like a beta-version of hotel, especially for it's price range).

Room Tip: You'd better wait until they will open high floors - views from 15 floor( which was the highest...

I really like this IHG Brand, I've stayed in two so far and have enjoyed them both.

Great rooms, wonderfully decorated. Just a nice place to stay

2 blocks from the Wan Chai metro and 4 blocks from Lockhart Rd.

Free Internet

A Starbucks 50 feet from the front door if you need a fix.

A little pricey at 2300 HKD + per night but it's hard to find anything reasonably priced in Hong Kong

This hotel has just opened and so they're still working out some small kinks but they'll get it right.

One downside I found. Only 2 elevators and the service can be a little slow.

Stay and enjoy but leave a room for me.

The property is very centrally located within walking distance from Pacific Place. New so naturally everything is spic and clean. The rooms are modern and as is the fashion nowadays, the washrooms in the deluxe are totally open with 2 separate chambers for the w/c and one for the shower, with you having to come out to wash your hands (all in the open!) So we opted for the superior room (a downgrade) which was a lot better but still you can hear and smell the washroom each time some uses it. Great place if you are travelling alone but as a couple or family I would stay away. Bfast was mediocre.
