“Escape for a fix”

Great food that hits the spot. Nice venue, a place to escape and eat or drink well. The service is efficient and the location is nicely placed. Seems like good value.

“Good Stuff”
Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

Well done to all the staff and cooks at Steamers. Had a good time with all our friends. The beer was cold and the food was comforting. And the prices are more or less fair.

Fish and ships with mushy peas:

Dog friendly and smokers friendly patio with fans

Generous portion of well buttered and fried fish.

Adequate fries with salt and pepper.

Earthy mushy peas.

The dog got a bowl of fresh water.

Easy going friendly service.

Overall a well located no thrill brunch place which welcomes your dog

“Great Expat Experience”
Reviewed July 11, 2014 via mobile

Steamers is an expat bar situated in the centre of Sai Kung. It offers a wide selection of meals catering to the expat choice, and a good variety of beers, ciders, wines and other drinks.

I have dined at this bar for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu selection is excellent and the waitress service likewise. My favourite on the menu is lasagna, which would make even Garfield wag his tail in contentment. Samuel Smiths cider is also available at this bar, which is another of my favourite drinks.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the service attentive. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere conducive to having an enjoyable time. Has a selection of reading material, including the Sai Kung magazine to take away. What else could an expert need?

There is a selection of sport on the television. The background music is not overpowering and the air conditioning is good. Tables available in doors and outdoors for those who prefer.

An excellent choice for expat dining in Sai Kung. It is best to reserve for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, to avoid disappointment.

Great food and range of drinks. Service and value for money both good. Friendly staff and regulars and refuge from heavy showers.
