“Reliable cha chaan teng”

There are a few Yuen Kee in Hk. Granville road is my favorite with consistent quality.

1. Location - Tsim Sha Tsui (same exit as The Mira). Opposite TheOne shopping mall facing the rows of small shops. Lotsa shopping around here so you can spend your time wisely instead of just eating.

2. Food variety - fabulous. They offer good breakfast sets, noodles, rice dishes and ROAST. Make sure you try their goose, chicken with spring onion sauce, roast pork, char Siew. Really delicious. Try not to go for soup noodles coz Tsui Wah offers a better soup base. Other than that this is really good.

3. Service - fast and speedy and no longer rude.

4. Ambience - busy but localized. Decor is simple but expect strong airconditioning. Very clean as well.

5. Others - they accept Octopus card payments besides cash. No service charge and tax but you can tip if you like. Long opening hours.

If you are not sure which local cafes to try, this is reliable. ESP good for those staying near Granville, Kimberly, Prat, Carnavon, and Hanoi roads of TST.

“Fast and Tasty in Hong Kong!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Love the Yuen Kee! My suggestion is the dim sum, but dinner fare is also excellent. This place is always crowded-don't expect to have a leisurely, quiet meal here!

Hint: Try the roast duck! The soups are also good. In fact, after eating here several times, I cannot think of a dish I did not enjoy. This is no small compliment as small eateries in Hong Kong line the streets...dollar for dollar, I loved the place.

“Fast and good food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013

I love their dim sum - the shrimp dumpling and their sweet chili sauce. Great match. We ate fish fillet with bean sauce and roast pork. Their serving is big, can be shared unless you really have a good appetite. Didn't enjoy much the fish fillet because I think they fried it right out of the freezer. But, if it wasn't I think my experience could have been good. The roast pork otherwise is filling. The skin was so crispy while the meat remains tender. I wish I could cook my roast pork without drying the meat just like they did!

“Quick eatery and good food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I ate here a few times during our 4-day stay in TST. Just a few steps from The Mira Hotel.
The staff were focused on getting you in-and-out and that meant very quick service. Most of the time, out foods were brought our at separate times but that was ok since we always share meals.
