This spot is just across the street from Victoria Park. The coffee here was pretty comparable to Starbucks and was always fresh. Staff were pleasant the times I visited. The store at Causeway Bay was truly huge, and had the feel of an upscale converted warehouse (the new urban cool here in Toronto). There was always plenty of seating available.
Prices for the latte/coffee seemed a little higher than at the competition, but the advantage of Pacific Coffee, at least at this location, was the two large and shiny iMacs that were free to use for customers. Since I didn't bring a laptop with me on vacation, this was a nice way to get caught up on email, and to check all the latest news.
Value wise, if you're just buying coffee, this would be a little more expensive than Starbucks, but if you factor in the use of the computer, it's good value. This shop is worth a try if you're in the area.
