So far this was the worst hotel I ever stayed in my entire life. Receptionists are all rude. Rooms are microscopic even for Hong Kong standards. I have a bathroom at home bigger then their rooms. Literally.

There is also a construction works on adjacent land plot. Hard working people start their business about 6:30 AM and keep themselves busy till very late. Be prepared for some background noise.

Separate note about breakfast - what is offered barely fits the term food.

On the check-out day the cleaning lady knocked at our door at 10:00 making it clear that she expect us out of room immediately, because she needs to clean it. No excuse! That simple.

Never ever... Never.

While scouring the net looking for a place to stay in HK, I came across the lastminute.com secret deal. Described the hotel as 4 yrs old etc. I was tempted and booked two rooms for 6 nights. Once booked they reveal the name of the hotel.
Very friendly staff. From the concierge to the room attendants, they make you feel special.
Their description says that the rooms are 12 feet x 12 feet. That is correct if you include the shower and toilet cubicle. The room itself only measured 9 feet x 9 feet. With a double bed in it, leaves you with just enough room to walk around the bed. You have to leave your suitcase standing upright. The bathroom sink was located outside the bathroom on the LHS as you entered the room. The toilet cubicle would be less than 3 feet wide, and the shower cubicle slightle larger. Very very cramped conditions overall ruined what would have been a pleasant experience. Located at the old part of Hong Kong, near the dried fish markets. In the heart of and the hustle and bustle of 'local HK'. We ate where the locals ate and found the food very tasty and cheap. The concierge directed us to a local Dim Sum restaurant where the food was fantastic.
Good location. Easy access via free shuttle buses from HK station - under the airport express terminal. Short walk to buses and trams. Taxis are reasonably easy to catch. When we first arrived we paid HKD$60 for a trip that should have only cost $30 because the taxi driver went the wrong way.
Unfortunately because of the size of the rooms (we were on the 27th floor - harbour views), we would not return to this hotel. That is a shame because everything else was good.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a corner room. A little more window ledge space to place your suitcases.

We booked for king size bed, when we checked in they gave us 2 twins beds. The room was supper small ,not even a chair in the room, very dark, no place for your luggages. We wanted to leave, they told us will not refund.
For the breakfast the food is very poor. The elevators is nightmare.
We will not recommend to any body.

To stay at this hotel, you have to browse the photos on this hotel If you are happy with a cramped room and have sit on the toilet at right angles then this is value for money. The staff were great and the breakfast good. We decided to book out after the first night of a four night stay. The management were great and showed us other possible rooms. When we said we still wanted to leave they refunded the rest of our stay. KEY LESSON - always read trip advisor and you will get a balanced view on which you can make your decision. On this occasion I did not do this and suffered the consequences

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and I really want to Thank God for that. The hotel is made vertically. The Lobby to check-in is on the 5th floor. The check-in was quick and we got the room on the 21st floor. The hotel has 38 floors.

The room was a total shocker. One gets pretty much everything one needs in a hotel room but it was so cramped up. If you are traveling with a young child and has some luggage, it becomes worse. There was no space available to open your luggage and there was no wardrobe to hang your clothes. We had to one by one open our bags on the bed to take out clothes for the next day. The bathroom was again too cramped up.

Now for the good things about the hotel. The hotel is located in the city though it is a little far from the closest MTR (Metro) station. The hotel has a shuttle service that you need to book in advance (weird) and it shares this service with Ramada hotel which is a block away. The shuttle drops you to Macau Ferry Terminal/Sheung Wan MTR and the Hong Kong MTR/Airport Express Line. Then its easy to move around in Hong Kong unless you want to pay more for Taxi.

Buffet Breakfast was just about ok with options from Asian & Continental cuisine.

Overall, I would not recommend you to stay in this hotel unless you are alone. If you are traveling with someone or a family, please avoid this hotel.

A very small hotel. The first thing we did was LOL once we walk into this hotel. I know that hotel in HK is small but this one has a SUPERB SMALL toilet. Smallest I have ever seen. L shape with "I" of L a bathtub and "_" of L a toilet. Even the sink is at outside. If you are tall/long leg. (mine is 5'1, and its just nice), do not stay here. Because you will be having a hard time fixing yourself on the toilet bowl!If 2 frens, changing is a problem since there is no place other than on the bath tub to change. Location is very far from MTR. Take bus 101 from exit E of MTR. 7-11 just opposite and McD at the same row. Hotel shuttle bus is a BIG problem. Shuttle bus at Sheung Wan MTR station is very hard to find, we have 15 min to find the location. People will just show you around and end up we took a cab instead. You have to pre-booked the bus for usage. a 10min pre-book is useless. The last bus is ~6pm and who get back to hotel at 6pm for vacation. Hence, think that the shuttle bus service is good for nothing. having just for the sake of having but not doing.
Service is good. Room is clean. Bed is comfort.
Still I find this hotel CUTE for being so small.

Room Tip: We stayed at 32nd floor and its Okay.

We stayed in the Standard City View room during the New Years period.

We tried emailing them a handful of times before our booking date, but not once did they reply - seems they only accept phone call conversations.

Even though we booked a room with a double bed, it was really two single beds pushed together - not ideal.

The hotel is about a 10-15 minute to the train station. They say they offer shuttle service but it was always booked out in the mornings when we visited - we ended up just walking the distance.

During our stay, we also found the lifts to be slow and constantly full a few times - this led to us walking down the flight of stairs from our high level room instead.

The free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly.

The room is small as mentioned, but this is Hong Kong and expected especially at this price range. It felt clean and had all the necessities.

If you want a basic clean hotel and don’t mind walking, then this will suit you.
