This is another one of those things that has to be done in Hong Kong. There was a big queue, but not excessive. The ride up offers some different perspectives on the city and of course, the view from the top is spectacular. I wouldn't bother with the whole Peak Experience ticket - you can get perfectly good views from the roof of the shopping centre next to the tram station. We walked down from the top, which was quite hard on the legs!

I would have rated this attraction higher if the seating was more organized. What they have in place now is a shove your way onto the train through very small doors. Whether your first in line doesn't matter here and there is no staff interaction to make sure this doesn't happen. Children and elderly be warned. Of course on days with less foreign crowds, the train ride is much more comfortable and the views are stunning if you can see them. If you can get a seat, sit on the right side of the train to view Victoria Harbor and the H K skyline. Do read up on the stories behind this attraction as it is very interesting to see its unique History.

Commencing from 1888.This is a very old public transport service. Before the starting of this service. Th entrepreneur would use man-carried sedan to gomto their offices in Central from thier homes in Mid-level or at the peak. Having this service, their sedan carriers need only waiting their master at the tram stops. The sedan waiting hall at the peak has ,now, been turned to a restaurant serving tourists. With the introduction of motor-cars,the peak tram services tourists more than the residences. With a ride of less than 7 minutes, you can see the houses at an incline and below. The best seating location is the Right Hand side seats(uphill) and the Left Hand side seats downhill. The best time to avoid long queue,is 10am or before. Edward CHAN in Hongkong

Don't waste your time in line for the taxi on the way up! Taxis are so cheap in Hong Kong, and for some reason the tram line going up is huge, but going down you only wait for a few minutes.

The Peak known as Victoria Peak above Hong Kong was truly one of the most amazing things I did in Hong Kong. I knew from so many other reviews and speaking to the concierge that I had to do this. I actually decided to take a cab up and then the tram down and this turned out to be a great decision. I enjoyed the ride up because I got to see some of the streets of Hong Kong and experience some different perspectives When arriving at the peak tram structure and shopping mall I was overwhelmed at what choices there were for shopping and restaurants. The shopping mall was in one side and the. Across the way was the peak tram area and viewing deck. Even the interior of the building that housed shops and escalators to reach the rooftop was beautifully designed. A huge glass window which overlooked the whole city f Hong Kong and the beautiful trees surrounding the hills and homes up at the top. Went to the deck and this is where I was totally blown away by the views from every angle and all sides of Hong Kong island. Also seeing the Kowloon side and as far as the eyes could see

This is a must do and must see attraction when visiting Hong Kong because you will never have an opportunity to see anything so spectacular anywhere in the world. I have amazing pictures and memories of the time I spent up there. It's hard to put into words how truly beautiful Hong Kong is. The massive skyscrapers in one side and over the other side. Views of the sea and beautiful surrounding islands and green lush trees and landscapes.

Make sure you go to the tram at Victoria's peak and plan to shop in some unique shops and enjoy eating lunch or dinner up there

I hear it's beautiful at night and I can't wait to return so I can see the beautiful light display from
