The views from the Peak are just outstanding. It is also like a little village on the hill. You can take a walk along the paths. You can take the no 15 bus right to the peak or the more expensive route.

I’d suggest to take bus #15 from the Central MTR station or from the ferry stop.
It will take about 35-40 min to get the Victoria Peak.
Be ready to queue for an hour or more to get to the crowded rooftop.
Beautiful view at any time of the day.

The view is obviously stunning.
There’s plenty of places to eat, we at at Fuji mama’s which was good. Expect to pay a premium for the location.
We paid for an express pass so it took about and hour to get up the top but coming back the express ticket didn’t work going back so with over an hour wait to get into the tram we decided to take a taxi.
It’s good but it is definitely a one off thing as the crowds are enough to ruin it.

I’d suggest going early morning to avoid the crowds.

a GREAT TRAM RIDE FROM CITY UP TO hONG kONG'S HIGHEST HILL. However, at sales counter, you ask for return tram trip and they sell, but don't tell that they add Observatory which is an additional fee - you think you are only paying for tram and they DO NOT tell you!!! Beware!

We used the peak tram to get to the top and whilst there was a queue for around 45 minutes it was worth it.
The history of the tram, it’s engineering and the views of Hong Kong harbour was great.
I recommend this to any visitors
