The view is obviously stunning.
There’s plenty of places to eat, we at at Fuji mama’s which was good. Expect to pay a premium for the location.
We paid for an express pass so it took about and hour to get up the top but coming back the express ticket didn’t work going back so with over an hour wait to get into the tram we decided to take a taxi.
It’s good but it is definitely a one off thing as the crowds are enough to ruin it.

I’d suggest going early morning to avoid the crowds.

a GREAT TRAM RIDE FROM CITY UP TO hONG kONG'S HIGHEST HILL. However, at sales counter, you ask for return tram trip and they sell, but don't tell that they add Observatory which is an additional fee - you think you are only paying for tram and they DO NOT tell you!!! Beware!

We used the peak tram to get to the top and whilst there was a queue for around 45 minutes it was worth it.
The history of the tram, it’s engineering and the views of Hong Kong harbour was great.
I recommend this to any visitors

No need to go by funicular rail or taxi to the peak. Cheaper and more fun is to catch a red double-decker bus at Central. Number 50 outside the Outlying Islands Terminal. When you arrive, take a gelato from Gino's Ice cream Palace. Now you are ready for the scenic walk around Lugard Road. Go
