This place only takes cash so if you don’t have Hong Kong dollars, get some! Fast transport with frequent servers.

went there on a tour. Tours both in HK and China are not that good. Apparently guides cannot tell so much about their countries or they don't know how to say it. I enjoyed Victoria Peak though. Loved the view.

Recomend setting off by say 9am and take the bus up and the tram down. Winding bus journey passes 20 or more story apartment blocks situated seemingly precariously on the tops of hills. Multi million dollar homes some with their entrance roads snaking through jungle and even their own tunnels and bridges. Views over Hong Kong , its islands and many beaches. Bus terminus at shopping and entertainment centre at the top. Both smart and budget restaurants. Take the funicular tram down, go through shopping centre to access. When the funicular stops at the bottom the long queues waiting to go up will make you happy that you went up by bus.

I don’t know if it was just my group but once we got to the lookout we didn’t even know we were at the top. You can buy a tram ticket down to the central station which is nice but the wait is like an hour to get on if not longer. The view from the rooftop was beautiful though and a great place to relax.

The peak is certainly well worth the trip, unfortunately it is so popular that it is very difficult to get great views without pushing your way around. Like many things in Hong Kong there are so many tourists that you need to be aggressive if you want a rail side view.
Do nt use the tram to get to peak. Use bus 15 from Admiralty MTR to reach peak, cheaper and far more efficient use of time.
A window-side seat in one of the restaurants is an expensive, but nice way to spend an hour in some relative peace.

The views from the Peak are just outstanding. It is also like a little village on the hill. You can take a walk along the paths. You can take the no 15 bus right to the peak or the more expensive route.

I’d suggest to take bus #15 from the Central MTR station or from the ferry stop.
It will take about 35-40 min to get the Victoria Peak.
Be ready to queue for an hour or more to get to the crowded rooftop.
Beautiful view at any time of the day.

The view is obviously stunning.
There’s plenty of places to eat, we at at Fuji mama’s which was good. Expect to pay a premium for the location.
We paid for an express pass so it took about and hour to get up the top but coming back the express ticket didn’t work going back so with over an hour wait to get into the tram we decided to take a taxi.
It’s good but it is definitely a one off thing as the crowds are enough to ruin it.

I’d suggest going early morning to avoid the crowds.
