looking over HK side from kowloon side gets a better view, you may have afternoon tea in intercontinental to watch the sunset then neon lights on, or go to aqua for drinks in the evening, the victoria harbor stunning night view will be on your face.

“Beautiful views at night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

If you are willing to face the massive queues starting at 4pm onwards going to the tram, then you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Hong Kong skyline from the top of the Peak!

“Must see.... Great view!!!”

The Peak is a must, the view us absolutely breathtaking. Just beware, it's probably not worth it on a smoggy or overcast day

“Must Watch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

Its a must watch place. I strongly suggest you go there by the 'Peak Tram' . madame tussauds is ok most of the statues are of Chinese Celibs. I was not impressed with the ' Amitabh Bacchan' wax statue there. If you are a vegetarian like me you will find veg food in cafe deco there.

“A must do for first travellers to HK!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

The Peak Tram and the sky deck at the Peak is a must do. Yes, it is highly touristy and very popular, but is an awesome viewing point of the city.

The tram is an experience in itself - such an insane incline. Going up, we were lucky enough to have a seat, but coming down we had to stand. Our feet were pretty much sliding down the tram carriage, if it weren't for the grip grooves in the tram floor I would have ended up on the opposite side of the carriage! Very fun though.

I recommend catching the tram early to avoid queues (10am or earlier) and then coming back after lunch as the queues are massive in the late afternoon.

You have to pay extra for the Skydeck, which is up the top of the Peak. This extra is worth it. Great for panoramic photos and a birds eye view of Hong Kong.

Alternatively, if you don't want to pay the extra, you can take a walking trail that appears from a road (the entry to the road is near the courtyard between the Peak buildings - look for the road and turn right). You get some great views from up here for free. You will need to double back after about a kilometre as you won't be able to see much of the city after that.

Cafes, shops and restaurants were great too. You could definitely spend a whole day browsing. Madam Tussaud's is also up here if you are looking at other things to see.
