This is a pleasant place to spend a bit of time in Hong Kong. There are water features which block out the sounds of traffic, etc. Lots of benches to sit on, paths to wander along. There is also a moving monument to the health care workers who died during the SARS epidemic. A foot massage walk (bring thin socks so you can really enjoy it). And a Museum of Tea. Next door to the Museum is a Gallery and Tea House. The Tea House was very peaceful. The menu for the tea was about 6 pages. I chose a tea I had learned about in the Tea Museum. A young woman came and prepared the tea at my table. Between the walk around the park and my time at the tea house, I left the park refreshed and ready to tackle the hordes again.

Nestled among high rise banks, hotels and shopping centers Hong Kong Park provides visitors with lush foliage, gorgeous flowers and bushes and beautifully designed water features and cascades even a large waterfall. Also included without any admission fees are a super conservatory and a very impressive and large aviary. Here serenity rules. A must visit.
Bottom line: You can get there on Bus 103 from Kowloon Station or Bus 12 from the Central ferry dock. Also useful is Bus 15C from the Central ferry dock but it terminates at the Peak Tram stop after which you’ll follow signs and walk a little. But the best way is to use the escalators in Pacific Place (Exit C at Admiralty) and follow signs all the way to the top. Riding all the way.

A green oasis inthe concrete and you may be knocked over by hoardes of wedding parties and photographers, but a place to relax away from the bustle. It feels manufactured but who cares, it's green.

A nice retreat from busy Central. A good place to walk, chat with friends and watch children at play.

Beautiful green park to relax or wander around. We had lunch at the restaurant, looking out on the pond and waterfall. We enjoyed the museum too.
The free zoo is across the road on cotton tree drive.
