We liked the location of the hotel a lot, as it shows you an area of HK that you may not otherwise see. The metro station is a 15 minute walk, at brisk pace, which we were happy with as helped to walk off the dim sum..., but may put some people off.
Some great local restaurants nearby, and really easy to get to more central areas by metro or taxi, which doesn't cost very much.
The hotel airport transfer is cheap and easy (110 HK dollars). would recommend this rather than struggle with bags on metro etc
The rooms were reasonably spacious, very clean and had everything we needed including wifi access.
The down side was the smell of smoke coming into the room via the bathroom. This was really unbearable and seemed to get worse as our week passed. All my clothes came home stinking of smoke :-( (we were on 11th floor)
The pool was lovely, and would have been nice to spend more time there, just didn't get the sunshine...
Apart from the smoke, nothing to grumble about!

We were in a group tour. The mainland hotel location seemed to be nearby to metro station, markets and eateries. Hotel provided a free shuttle every half-hour to the harbor with great shopping and restaurants. The banks and stores are on the same road. You could go all the places by taxis which are not that expensive and by metro .

The hotel room was compact like everything else in Hong Kong where land is at a premium. You do not have room to put down two suitcases and two carry-ons and then move around.

But the bed was comfy. Lobby had free wi-fi. The breakfast was great [ included in our deal]. Lobby staff was helpful.

Room Tip: Instead of waiting for the shuttle to take you to the Mongtok metro station, you could hop into a taxi and go to the metro station.

This hotel was by far the best value for my recent visit. I could not find anything for similar price in the area so regardless of remote location I picked this for my coworkers and I.
We were all happy. Hotel offered a free one way icket for normal airport shuttle. Due to location this was smart decision for hotel to offer and smart for us to use.
Check in was ok, nothing special. Staff was impressive at door and reception.
Room was fine for Hong Kong.
No complaints and I felt the bed was good.
Location proved a problem after a business dinner as two taxi's could nor find the hotel. We visited the ground floor bar and liked it.
Check out was fast and taxi was available which surprised me.
Due to price- worth a try!

Recently based at this hotel for 3 days in Hong Kong. We found it great to have access to night market, underground, with a shuttle bus to Mongkok station and the waterfront. Free wi fi in lobby, very helpful staff and good restaurant choices. Comfy well equipped rooms with Internet access for laptops.

Due to a 3 hour delay in Dubai we arrived at Hong Kong airport after midnight on Mon 17th March.Unfortunately we were too late to catch the hotel shuttle bus,so arrived by taxi. We checked in about 2 am and surprisingly given an upgrade to one of their re-furbished club rooms on 16th floor.
A decent-sized room/bathroom,nicely furnished,tea/coffee making facilities and situated in a quiet location (sockets accomodate british style plugs and no need for adaptors)
Buffet breakfast (payable) was taken in the main dining room with a good variety of hot and cold fare.A special offer was available if you dined before a certain time.
We only had one evening meal in the hotel but were a little disappointed with the main course (too much rice & poor meat ).
The hotel is located on a busy road with lots of small and interesting shops nearby. It has a bakery on the ground floor selling fresh pastries and cakes,a fitness room and swimming pool on the rooftop. The shuttle bus provides free transport to certain parts of Kowloon.
We used "Mankok MTR" a lot for getting about Hong Kong, only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and advise anybody to purchase an "Octopus Card" for use on the underground,buses/trams,
Star Ferry etc.
All the staff were very friendly & helpful and if we ever return we would certainly consider staying at this hotel again.

Room Tip: If you want a good nights sleep ask for a room on the higher floors
