The best thing about this hotel is the fast and efficient service. The room is as small like all HongKong mid-range hotels. Sound-proofing is average at best but the bed is quite comfortable. It is in a desirable location with plenty of shops around and if you want a little of the daily life of HKers, there is a lively morning market just a few blocks from the hotel and the subway station is a few more blocks further away.

Is short, a basic place to stay.

Room Tip: Get a high-floor room away from the elevator.

Stayed on a business trip for two nights. Rooms are relatively very small ( this is expected in Hongkong ). The bathroom can go in one way and come out the same way, does not have room to turn its so small.

Location and basic amenities are passable. Restaurant service is very slow.
Overall an average hotel just to sleep and get on with the rest of the things.

Room Tip: Nothing in Particular

This hotel is clean, no frills with friendly and efficient service. With its very convenient location (between Wanchai and Causeway Bay) and close to the shopping mecca, it attracts a large number of tourists from mainland China.
Do not expect 5 star quality as the rooms are small for US standard (but are considered average size in Hong Kong) and the breakfast buffet is adequate but not spectacular. However, with its reasonable price, location, and the good service, this hotel is worth looking into.
Request a non-smoking room/floor if possible.

Was here for the Hong Kong 7s and felt that an expensive/brand known hotel was not important as we would spend so little time there: Warning, this is not the case, I have learnt my lesson.
From the start, things did not go well - at check in, as I was assigned a smoking room this was not as per reservation. When I went back to complain, I was told that there were no non smoking double rooms left in the hotel and could only have twin beds. This was my only option as my husband is a fervent anti-smoker, but given we were to stay there for 5 nights, I was not impressed.
The room - small, basic, beds hard and the pillows almost flat. The bathroom was tiny and could only fit one person at a time. I liked the Japanese style toilet with heated seat, but it didn't make up for the other poor amenities.
The wifi did work when we used it, the tv channels were very limited.
Overall, the price was very inflated for the standard and quality provided. My advice - go with a branded hotel in HK and pay slightly more for much more comfort, service and amenities.

i stayed at the south pacific hotel for 3 nights on a bussiness trip.
the rooms are tiny and smell bad, the wifi doesnt work most of the time, the locks on the doors are broken and you should be careful leaving valuables in your room!!!
when aproached the service manager or staff of the hotel, there was no one to hear your complaints, they dont care if you are happy or not, only pay your bill.
i will never stay there agian and i advise you dont either.
better option in that area is the novotel in wan chai. stayed there a few times and was always happy with the rooms and the service.
