Stayed here 4 nights on business. Professional helpful staff. English no problem. Good exercise room, biz center. Very convenient to Nathan St shops, restaurants and bustle. Would certainly stay here again. Clean and serene.

Room Tip: Maybe stay away from Nathan St side...

We (2 x adults, 1 x child) stayed at this property for 3 nights over the weekend right before CNY. Booked the Tower package which included a separate concierge check in on 16th floor, guaranteed high floor, access to the Towers Lounge for 24 hr tea, coffee, complimentary afternoon tea, evening cocktails, and breakfast on the top floor.

Check in on 16th floor was extremely pleasant, SPG status was recognized and room was harbour facing and on the top floor. This sounds a little elitist I know but the separate check in alone is a lovely way to begin the stay.

Having stayed here before I wanted to try the Towers package this time and we were not disappointed. Definitely worth the extra $! Starting off with the exclusive breakfast away from the hustle and bustle of the ground floor cafe, the spread was extensive enough that we could easily spend a couple of hours here before heading off for the day.

We also tried the afternoon tea (with hors douvres) as well as the evening drinks with snacks (buffet style). Both were very good and well-manned by polite and attentive staff. The only incident I noticed was an ex-pat dining in the lounge for afternoon tea who eventually was caught out for not actually being entitled to. The speed at which he packed up and left on arousing suspicion was comical to say the least.

Overall, our stay here was memorable and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this package. The room was large enough to handle the 3 of us and although we spent little time in our room did not feel at any time as though we were "caged" in.

We will be back to this hotel next time we visit Hong Kong.

We booked the Sheraton in Kowloon Hong Kong in June 2013 for the Chinese New Years period of 30 Jan to 3 Feb 2014 to celebrate the New Year in the heart of cosmopolitan Hong Kong. Little did we know upon arrival to the hotel we were overwhelmed by massive queues of predominantly mainland Chinese tourists in the lobby check in area.
We had requested 8 months ago 2 rooms with good views and despite having visited Sheraton Hong Kong 2 years earlier in Xmas we were given rooms looking onto walls. In 5 star hotels Staff escort guest to their rooms. In our case it was left to us to look for our rooms. On arrival to our 2 rooms we waited for our luggage which never arrived. We contacted concierge and they couldn't locate our luggage. They asked us dial 14 and inform staff of our 2 rooms numbers something unacceptable by any hotel standard. And this SPG hotel is the most expensive SPG hotel that we have stayed in Asia. We travel to Asia regularly and are experienced travellers. During this stay we had 4 buffet Breakfasts for our family of 4 and the same food was served on all 4 days, no variation of food type at all. We were offered complimentary free wifi in our rooms upon check in but this was not recorded on the computer system of the hotel, the day after we arrived we were told wifi is chargeable. We complained 3 times to the lobby staff and only during our 3rd complaint 2 days into our stay the duty manager attended to us and acknowledged their deficiency. All in all we as non Chinese felt we were not welcome to join in the festivities of the Chinese Year New in Hong Kong an event we so much looked forward to. Hong Kong in our opinion had lost its past glory. In shopping centre lifts, on buses, on public spaces the Chinese tourists lack etiquette and the local Hong Kong people in all areas of hospitality are loosing their way with these tourists and treat the rest of us tourists the same way. What a pity!! We are Asia lovers. In fact we receive the same feedback from all service providers in Asian countries. Etiquette can not be bought with money, this comes with education.
As a consequence we shall never travel again during the two weeks of Chinese Lunar New Year and Sheraton Kowloon should improve their service. We are not staying in this hotel again.

Travel is quite rightly a cultural experience, and the reception staff were professional if not a little cold. This was an enduring memory during our 2 days in late December. Our overnight stay went like clockwork, the rooom was HK size (cramped) and of reasonable comfort. Sad to say there was little to give us a delightful memory. I really notice the lack of a surface/rack upon which to open a suitcase for the 2 guests. Hotels must believe that the majority of guests are solo travellers. The location is convenient, but the hotel entrance in an alleyway is baffling, crowded and makes it difficult to handle baggage into reception as one has to use escalators and there is a complete absence of signage-were we in the hotel, in a shopping arcade, were there staff to help? My overall impression-never travel to Hong Kong at Christmastime, yes the harbour lights were attractive but impossible for the visitor to get around.

Room Tip: The reception made a big deal about noise, our room overlooked a side road near the corner of Nathan...

The Sheraton simply delivered the quality of service you are entitled to expect, but seldom enjoy. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and the hotel is very well located close to the MTR and Star Ferry.

We booked a towers room and paid supplement for harbour view - well worth the extra.

Check in at towers reception - seamless

The room was spotless, granted not the largest of rooms, and the view was amazing.

The towers reception staff were so kind and accommodating at all times, special mention to Kathy Tung, she is the best!

The towers lounge is frequented by experienced lounge hogs who hog their seats and are clearly out to get their money's worth - they should be ashamed really.

The towers lounge is small and a seat wasn't always possible largely due to the (large) lounge hogs cramming as much "free stuff" as they could

Breakfast in oyster bar was great - staff remember you

Great hotel and location

Only things to note : there is very little storage in the room and we lived out of suitcases. Ample storage if on a business trip I'm sure but we were here for 5 nights of a 11 night trip so had a lot of luggage.

There was no offer of any help with luggage on arrival but Tigard what wheels are for !

I know the hotel take reviews seriously so I am pleased to give a good one

We stayed in 1730 - a great room

Typical boring office furniture in the room (I had a standard double room). Bathroom fixtures looked old an inexpensive. Room service menu: for the price it really leaves much to be desired. Uninspired dishes that cost a lot, not a good value for the money. Pool was pretty good. Women's locker area and showers are in need of renovation. Small and cheap looking. I've seen the same two brushes full of someone's hair two days in a row (apparently they are there for everyone's use). In addition, there was an interesting sign in the locker room, indicating which body parts cannot be dried with the hair dryer (completed with pictures), I am not kidding. Apparently management think that highly of the guests that they are in need of guidance in this matter. This hotel is just OK to get by a few nights and I think it is geared mostly to male businessmen not concerned too much with decor and ambiance. Breakfast selection was really good and WiFi in the room was working fine.

Room Tip: ask for a room with harbor view, otherwise keep your curtains closed at all times
