“Pefect location, nice hotel.”
Reviewed November 8, 2011

We were in HK for business and loved the Sheraton. Great location on the south end of Nathan Rd. Everyone was extremely friendly and the room was great. We spent one afternoon at the rooftop pool. It was a bit crowded, but everyone was quiet and relaxing. The pool is gorgeous, and should not be missed. Also, if you can get a table by the windows on the top floor cocktail lounge, the view is amazing. Great hotel.

Just returned from Hong Kong and stayed at the Sheraton. The first two nights we were in a standard room on the 9th floor that was fairly large with a nice size bathroom and very large vanity/sink area. The vanity/sink was all glass and very exotic looking. You could see through to the glass shelf below. The only downside to this was that the area had only two tiny little recessed lights and was very dark. It was so dark that I had to go into the bedroom area to do my make-up at the mirror on the wall in there. The tub/shower area was well lighted. Room included a flat screen TV, mini-fridge, and 4 large bottles of water.

The second two nights we moved into a harbor view room. This one was on the 6th floor and was disappointing in that the view was partially obstructed and not what I had hoped. The room was also smaller than the previous one and didn't have the large lounge chair as in the other one. The bathroom was also smaller with a much smaller vanity/sink area, about half the size of the first one. It was also all glass but not as exotic because of the small size. We didn't even have enough room for all of our things. There was no mirror on the wall but instead had clear glass that enabled one to see through to the bedroom and also outside. This took care of the problem of being too dark that the other room had. A partial mirror on the side would swing out for use. A shade was available to close for privacy if needed. This bath had a separate shower whereas the first one had a tub/shower combo. Room also included the same mini-fridge, flat screen TV, but only came with 2 small bottles of water (vs. 4 large in the first one). Puzzling difference.

The staff is very efficient, polite, and helpful. Never had a problem with anyone. Food in the buffet restaurant is very good with great service. Decor at this hotel is somewhat dated but the premises are extremely clean. Location is fantastic being at the foot of Nathan Rd. Great shopping nearby as well as many restaurants. Walking distance to the ferries as well as the subway. Free internet at 5 computers available in the lobby. Nice touch

Very happy with this hotel in general and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Higher floors for harbor view may be better

Dear igolfCA,

Thanks for sharing your experience with us and we are pleased that your stay was enjoyable.

Our arrangement of room amenities including bottled water may have misleading, and we apologize. All room amenities are generally the same for all rooms. We do however provide speical amenities for our SPG members on Preferred Floors (8/F to 11/F) as well we our Towers guests (16/F & 17/F). For your future visit, any additional amenities you require, please contact our Housekeepers or Concierge who will be happy to assist.

The room sizes between our Harbor View and Deluxe rooms (Standard) are of 30 and 27 sq meters respectively. The four-fixture Harbor View bathrooms with the separate shower area, sometimes do make the bathroom look smaller. We do offer Deluxe Harbor View rooms which provides an additional 5 sq meters ie 35 Sq M, in room space, and this may be considered for your future return planning.

Once again thank you for your review and we look forward to your return.

With warmest regards,
Sarwar Mohamed

The service was excellent. The staff were very helpful with everything. We stayed in the harbourview rooms and the views were stunning. The rooms are comfortable. The swimming pool area is pretty average. The resturants are nice and the meals where good. The breakfast buffet has a very big selection. Yes we would stay there again,

Room Tip: Stay in the Harbourview room if your on holidays or want something a little bit nicer

Unlike any hotel in Hong Kong, I found Sheraton HK has a decent space room and everything is great about the hotel. Also it has a good location, right in the south end of Nathan Road where shops and malls spread along the road.
However, it was not convenient to travel by Airport Express as I had to switch to another MTR line and no elevator/escalator almost in HK MTR entrance/exit.

I stayed at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers for five nights on my first visit to Hong Kong. This hotel, which is located in Tsim Tsa Tsui on Kowloon, topped of a brilliant stay in this vibrant city. I found all of the staff to be friendly, professional and accommodating, especially when recommending which sights to see for a first-time visitor like myself. I had a Deluxe Twin room on the 14th floor with my mother, which had a magnificent view of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island. It was wonderful returning to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing to watch the colourful light show and buzz of activity on the harbour from our very own room! Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We ate at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, Lobby Lounge and Cafe during our stay, and found the food and service to be of an extremely high quality, and very reasonably priced. We also had some drinks in the Sheraton's 'Sky Lounge', which has breathtaking, expansive views of Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbour. Nathan Road is just a short stroll away, which means that some of Hong Kong's best shopping is right on your doorstep! The Tsim Tsa Tsui subway station is very close to the Sheraton, as is the Star Ferry Terminal (where you can board the ferries to Hong Kong Island). The hotel also has a nice pool where you can relax after a long day of shopping and sightseeing! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hong Kong because of its perfect location, friendly service, comfortable rooms and range of eateries. It is a great hotel for couples, families and solo-travellers alike!

Room Tip: Request a high-floor room for the best views of Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbour.

The location is outstanding since you can walk on Nathan Road for any shopping or food. It's blocks away from Harbor City which is a huge mall and good restaurants. It felt pretty safe as well which is important to me when traveling abroad.
