Location : from HK airport, take the airport express to Kowloon station. Then take the free shuttle K2 (12 mins interval) which brings you right up to the hotel. Fuss free & super convenient!
When you want to hit Nathan Road and Granville Road, the hotel lobby connects directly with the bridge to Kowloon Park - after a short & pleasant walk through the park, you can also be at the entrance to the Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR.
Alternatively, the hotel is connected to Harbour City & Ocean Terminal shopping mall for yr shopping fix!
There is also a nice Dim Sum restaurant right next to the hotel in the shopping centre (a lot of locals seem to frequent the place so must be good!).
Room : highly recommend spending a bit more for the Pacific Grand rooms which are located at the Tower block - you get a bigger room and a humongous bathroom with double basins! Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Take note that the check-in for the tower block is at a different location as compared with the reception for block with the standard rooms - so don't waste time queuing in the wrong place! (which we did when we first got there)
Not necessary to pay for the hotel breakfast option which seemed quite expensive. There are so many great food choices around!
Considering what hotel prices are like in Tsim Tsa Tsui, think this offers superb value for money - a decent size room and superb location plus you get Victoria harbour on one side and Kowloon Park on the opposite side! What else do you want?

Room Tip: The rooms facing the harbour are more expensive. But if you are going to be out shopping most of the time, save the money and just get the normal Grand Pacific room. Also take a Victoria Harbour evening cruise to get your fill of Victoria Harbour!

We stayed three nights at the Royal Pacific Hotel on Canton Road on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. This is a great location, close to the museums and waterfront where the laser show is performed nightly. Behind the hotel was Kowloon park with their pretty pink flamingos. The park is an excellent oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong.

On arrival, we actually walked with our baggage from the cruise terminal at Ocean Terminal to the hotel; about a 20 minute walk. At check-in they were very accommodating getting me a nonsmoking room. We were put on the Premium Plus Floor. The room was very clean with a slightly hard but comfortable bed. Two bottles of water were provided every day along with a tea kettle and instant coffee and tea. The location was excellent, close to a metro station ( MTRA Austin) and within walking distance of the waterfront.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They got me an extra pillow when I requested it. They were helpful in giving directions and I felt very safe in this hotel.

On checkout, a free airport shuttle bus picked us up right outside the hotel. the bus took us to the Kowloon MTR metro in about 10 minutes. At the Kowloon MTR metro station we were able to get our boarding pass and check in our luggage. Then we boarded a very fast express train that just made one other stop before the airport. Getting to the airport was a breeze and we actually arrived very early.

Room Tip: If smoke bothers you ask for a non smoking room. We were on the 10 th floor overy a busy roadway and the noise really did not bother us.

I have been to this hotel in the past, this time check was a breeze no long waiting and reception didn't seem to have the queues we experienced in the past. In this instance due to maintenance works we were put into the Hotel Premium Plus room for 2 nights. I personally found this old and small and if travelling solo on business then it may be just fine, but as a couple I would splash out and go to the Towers. Don't get me wrong it wasn't dirty or anything just cramped and seemed geared up for a single traveller (one bath robe etc). After 2 days we were moved to the Pacific Grand room in the Towers, much more spacious (as you can see by their in house website photos) and well worth any extra. We didn't have a view but to be honest was not a factor. The room was cleaned well daily and restocked, there was tea / Coffee making facility. The ferry terminal is below this hotel as is a smaller shopping centre, although not much of a food court in below (there was on our last visit). About 5 minute walk down the road is the entrance to the MTR or alternatively the opposite direction is the ferry to HK island. As far a central location and quiet rooms I think this is definitely worth you looking at.

Rooms were clean but perhaps a little dated, however the hotel was centrally located, close to mall, ferry and Kowloon station. Just 40HKD to station in a cab. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. The reception team were both polite and efficient .

V small grubby rooms. Located next to the ferry port for Macau. Breakfast was a scrum, yet the hotel staff v friendly. Needs a makeover. Appreciate the HK space issue. Perfect for resting a head for one night but seriously depressing. Better to pay a bit more and go to Marco Polo..
