Very good service by the hotel staff. The building looks quite bad from the outside and many other buildings in the neighborhood look terrible. This is not new area and not city center. There is an ok shopping mall attached to the hotel. Hotel from inside is nice. Our first 2-bed room suite smelled like mold, so we changed it another which was ok. No free internet, wifi available for approx 10EUR / 24h. Breakfast is international and you can easily find thing to eat here. Free transportation to Tsim Sha Tsui once an hour is convenient.

The only good point is the value of the hotel room - HKD 800 per night for April season. I would only recommend to travellers if:

- Your meetings/appointments are in this area
- You have a very tight budget
- You are only staying for very short 1 - 2 nights
- You just need a clean and basic room to crash in for the night

Hotel is not too far from HK airport, Disneyland, Big Buddha and Cable Car Nong Ping.

For this value rate, you get clean simple room and bathroom. Was quite surprise that they had a small bathtub as HK hotel rooms usually have standing shower.

Location is 10 min slow walk to MTR (5 min is really brisk walking). Near a shopping mall, so dining options not really a big problem.

Be prepared though, standard rooms does not come with wardrobe - means no place to hang up your clothes!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights in February. The rooms are quite spacious, especially by HK standards and are quite nice. The lack of free wi-fi was a bit of a downer, but other than that our stay was pretty good. Quite close to Disneyland as it is in the New Territory and they do provide a free shuttle into the city centre. Havign said that, it is a bit of a hike to get into the heart of the city, but again no real problems for the intrepid travellers as the hotel offers free shuttles and the subway system is only a 5 minute walk away. Some good shopping in the area as well.

Great hotel experience. I actually didn't expect a lot from this hotel, since it's not a 5 star hotel. But everything was awesome. Staff were all nice. A lot of great establishments nearby. Everything is clean and tidy. You may view my full hotel review here (with photos) http://rizzasalas.tumblr.com/post/47621272348/pandahotelhongkong :)

I stayed there from 1-7 april on a business trip with colleagues. We got the rooms on the same floor. One night my friend got locked outside her room and she was in bathrobe in the middle of the night. She called to reception from my room and requested to send housekeeping to open the door for her, but the reply was despite of the reason, she has to go down to the reception if she want to open the room. I never had experienc ethis kind of service from any hotel i have ever visited. Room service closes at 2am and after that you wont get anything. When ever I stay in this hotel, there is always a notice in the room saying, renovation in progress and apologise for the noise. It seems like a never ending rennovation.
The breakfast s terrible, you wont find anything that is good. You get a coupon for the breakfast and even if you forget the coupon in the room, the staff will chase you out, intsead of checking from their system for room number. The staff there speaks english, but very unhelpful. Most of the days, there were no chef in the open kitchen, so you wont get an omellete or noodles. No meat at all.
The bed and mattress in the room looks like a 100 year old one. If you get a twin room, you wont have space to put your luggage. I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. My worst experience ever....

Room Tip: Rooms on executive floors are little bit better than normal
