I would not even rate this a 4 star if i can give it a 4 1/2 star. Many of the hotels in HKG are quite small and the ceiling is low, not this one. for the last 7 times i have been back to HKG, the Nathan Hotel has treated me very well with well trained professional staff. plus, you really really cannot beat the location. it is between Yau Ma Tei and Jordan MTR stations. plus you can walk from Jordan to Tsim Sha Tsui in 10 minutes. this is where the action is. Plus the staff was nice enough to upgrade me due to the construction without charge. currently the price has gone like any hotels in HKG... but the price is well worth it.

In all respects it is worth recommending. It was my first trip to Chinese land and I had many apprehensions about alien
Country. But hotel people made me feel like at home. They were always eager to help and services were really instant.

Stayed here Feb 10-16th 2014. When we arrived the staff were friendly and took us to our room. From there it all went down hill! We were on the 9th floor right opposite the gym, these levels have not been renovated yet and they really need it! The room was so noisy and dirty and the bathroom was not even able to be used as the plug was broken in the shower over bath so it ended up getting blocked so had to shower in the gym shower for the first night until we moved room!
The next room was on the 6th floor and was quieter but still not quiet. It was still old with a run down bathroom but at least you could use this one. The air con didn't work and was so dirty so we called someone to get it fixed but they sent the cleaner who we had seen cleaning the rooms earlier in the day. She spoke no language which is understandable as we were not in an English speaking country so we got a translator from reception to talk to us where we were told "she said its okay" we explained that it won't go on hot only cold so the reply given was "there are blankets on your bed" and they hung up.
Breakfast was the best part of the stay and the buffet was delicious!
Wifi was so slow and constantly stopped working.
The rooms were big which we were grateful for after staying at the Eaton across the road but due to dirtness we ended up leaving a night early. If you want to stay in this fantastic location I would say don't waste a lot of money here and go next door to the Eaton.

Room Tip: Rooms are big but if you do stay here ask to stay on the higher floors that have been renovated! AVO...

The hotel is located at Nathan Rd close to metro. Nice and helpful staff. We had a room for 2 in good condition and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was good with many this to eat.
Central location so you can walk around to explore the city.

We first stayed at the Nathan in 2009 and had a mediocre experience as the room we stayed in was quite dated. I decided to give the Nathan another go this time due to their great location, reasonable price and their recent renovations - I was not disappointed.

We were given a complimentary upgrade to a twin room on the Platinum floor where the room was stylish, modern and very spacious.

Check in and check out were both very efficient.

I am due to return to HK in two weeks and am considering staying at the Nathan again if the price is right.

Room Tip: Go the Platinum rooms if you can but try to ask for a room further away from the stays to the restau...

The hotel is great, pretty much nothing to pick on. We booked an executive room for 3 of us, and oh boy, our allocated room was so spacious that if you want to pack in another 3 persons, it would unlikely to be a problem. Of course, the room was very clean too and have the necessary amenities. Also, the service staff promptly do room cleaning at about 10-ish every morning, and greet everyone they meet with a "good morning". Needlessly to say, all the staff are friendly and helpful. Location-wise, the hotel is about 2 mins walk to the Temple Street Night Market, and about 10 mins to the nearest MTR station (i.e Jordan). Tons of shops line the streets along the way to the MTR station. For the not-so-adventurous folks, there are McDonalds, 7-Eleven and Starbucks nearby, if you are looking for cheap and quick convenient food. In summary, this is a brilliant hotel, and we would definitely stay again next time round. Cheers.
