What not to like from this hotel... Right in the center of TST with a metro station very close. Amazing decoration and amazing amenities. Everything is just perfect but it comes with a price... 2750HKD a day unless you have a promo. Yes I know is HK, but price tag is just too much.

Room Tip: Ask to be upgraded when checking... if they have anything available they will do it for free!

Don't get me wrong, the place is actually quite nice, and probably I could rate it better, but something always seemed to go a little off. I stayed for a week in Mira, and it started nice - lobby doors opened for you, nice ambiance and everybody smiling. The check-in quickly turned sour after the hotel employee did not confirm the breakfast inclusion. I am not entirely sure whether that was the fault of the agency we booked with or the hotel, but it took 3 days to confirm the opposite, and in the meantime we ate breakfast elsewhere.
Moving on, the same hotel employee asked for a card to lock the safety deposit, which we provided. Next day, another clerk approached us saying the card was not working. Another card was provided. In fact, the first card was working, and the hotel blocked the same safety deposit on both the cards, thank you very much.
The rooms were of decent size for HK, and the spa was very pleasant. At first, I quite enjoyed using the entertainment system to watch tv and videos, but hey - it went out of order completely 3 times during my stay, so not too impressed after all.
The location is very convenient, and the decor is very appealing, but yes - too much bad luck to even consider this hotel a 5-star experience.

What an amazing hotel, offering a unique modern style approach. I stayed on the Executive floor on level 15 and was upgraded to a park view room which was very nice.

The best part of the Executive floors are the guest service team that greet you, check you in on the 15th level and help you with any of your needs. The lady's were amazing and made me feel very special and always greeted me by name. This made my Mira stay so worth it.

Breakfast was served on the 15th floor in the executive lounge which was extremely nice with a great selection of food. Very friendly staff in the lounge.

The rooms were very chic and wad lucky to get a purple room. Modern with an amenities list in the room that would put many hotels to shame. WiFi in the room or connect through the tv. Unlimited beverages in the mini bar (no charge) was a perk of the executive floors. Rain shower send turbo jets coming out of the wall was amazing. A fully glassed bathroom was different but their are privacy blinds that come down with a switch of one button. Mood lighting was great as well.

Located on Nathan Rd opposite Kowloon park was ideal with the top retail stores located under the hotel and directly opposite. Train station only 2 minutes walk and star ferry only a walk through Kowloon Park. I took a ferry to Macau to see the House of Dancing Water in the City of Dreams which was only an hour trip.

Would highly recommend the Mira for a unique and different approach to luxury.

Love this hotel! Beautiful room, great service- shower is to die for. In our room was a Samsung Note for us to use during the day with free international calling and wifi!!! Never have been to a hotel with that kind of service! The highlight so far has been our dinner at Wisk. So so good and we received 25% off our meal. Definitely recommend this hotel when coming to Hong Kong!

We stayed twice at The Mira over the past 2 weeks. The first time, I got my booking dates wrong but kindly the management got us a room (not a Club Room) which was OK.
On the second visit, we were given our Club Room but then upgraded to a Suite, which was unbelievable.
Couple of things about the Mira. I first stayed there as a child with my parents in 1965. It was wonderful then and nothing has changed, other than the decor. The service is terrific and the breakfast downstairs is superb. We also ate at Cuisine Cuisine which is a knock-out!
The Mira is superbly located in Nathan Road with its huge abundance of shops.
The Spa (which we visited twice) was also fantastic!
I would recommend a stay here anytime!

Room Tip: Club Room is definitely worth the extra on a City View side

With so many great hotels in Hong Kong, it's hard to pick just the one for you. But from the second we walked in to the lobby of the Mira, I knew we'd made the right choice. The lobby is spacious and beautiful, although some might find it a bit dark. Check-in was quick and easy and we got upgraded to a park view room on a high floor. The view of Kowloon park from the room was great, and deffinetly better than a view of the inner courtyard (which was what we had initially booked), absolutely worth paying extra for.

The rooms are on the small side, and that might be an issue if you're staying for a long time or plan to spend a lot of time in your room. However, for me, the modern and trendy design of the room made up for the size. And I loved the rainshower, which is big enough for two/

There are plenty of eating options in the hotel. We had a dim sum lunch on a Sunday at the Cuisine Cuisine restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had in Hong Kong. We also spent some time at Vibes, which is a great place for a drink and has an extensive and crative list of cocktails. I wouldn't suggest eating there though, as the food is pretty mediocre and the service is slow. But maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

All the staff at the hotel - at reception, in the restaurants, at the concierge desk, in the business centre - are extremely friendly and helpful, willing to answer all your questions.

Last, but by no means least - the location of the hotel. For me, the location of the hotel is perfect. I preffer staying in Kowloon to staying on the Island, and the location of the Mira in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui in the middle of Nathan road is ideal. It's steps from the MTR, walking distance to great shopping, across the road from Kowloon park and just next to Knutsford terrace with its unlimited eating options.

Would love to come back to the Mira, but they're opening a sister-hotel Mira Moon this fall and I'd love to try that out, too - even if it does mean staying on the island.
