“HEAVEN JUST GOT CLOSER!”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

Me & the family visited hong kong last month....we had 4 nights and 5 days at the Mira. We were staying in one of there deluxe rooms and had a nice view of the city.

The hotel staff, service, food, room hygiene and atmosphere were magical.

I can't wait to go back and re-visit again next summer.

Great modern hotel. Smallish, yet to be expected, but everything is perfect new and sparkling!
Very modern, and check out the pool. Very very nice. At times it looks like a modern nightclub, but one of the newest and modern hotels around. Rooms have a complimentary mobile phone for use as you travel around Hong Kong.

Room Tip: Get the executive class!!

Having stayed at many of the hotels in Nathan Road and environs the MIra is a welcome alternative to the very busy, impersonal multiples that occupy the area.

Having booked a club room I was whisked off to the 15th floor to their own club check in. My room was spacious, modern with state of the art lighting and TV and with a very comfortable bed.

The lounge itself whilst small did offer the usual facilities in a quiet environment and away from the busy and mad Nathan Road outside. The staff in the lounge are a cut above the rest and are eager to assist in all aspects of your stay with them. The food and snacks offered are of a better quality than many of the establishments I have experienced over the years.

The location is perfect for Kowloon and is in the heart of the shopping area but is a quieter and casual oasis once you step inside.

The usual temptation in TST (Kowloon) is to stay at a large property, such as the Sheraton or Intercontinental. We tried the Mira as it had been recommended by friends. We took a club room, and were not disappointed. We by-passed ground floor reception and checked-in at the dedicated club reception upstairs. All very informal and efficient. The room faced a park; small, but well-equipped. We did not spend much time in it...too many shopping options outside.
The only con to our experience was the lack of capacity of the club lounge. It was packed for evening cocktails, and bursting for breakfast the following morning. Breakfast is not the hotels strong suit; the buffet offering was quite limited, and set out in a manner which made it difficult to find spreads and some of the cooked options.

Room Tip: The Club lacks exclusivity, but it does offer very good service.

An amazing hotel, right in the edge of Kowloon city. The fun of being able to choose your own colour scheme and style just makes it more memorable. Will definitely use this hotel again the next time I'm in Hong Kong.

This was a good hotel. Great service. We went there with 2 children under 5. Had a great time. Very central location.

Staff are friendly for a city location. Great places to eat right next door. The hotel has a michelin star restaurant.

The room was tiny but lots of great gadgets everywhere. Fab. space saving ideas. Good view over the park. Shopping galore.
