“A new hotel Experience”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

This is one of our favorite hotels in the world! As soon as you enter the lobby you will be enchanted by the Mira experience. Its a modern hotel with advance amenities. The rooms are so big especially the bathroom. We loved internet browsing the in the room using the room TV. The indoor pool is so beautiful. Location is in the heart of Tsimshatsui. The best Shopping malls and stores are located in this area.

Room Tip: Request for a room with a garden view or view of the park.

Nice modern hotel in heart of Hong Kong. Near to TST and shopping, nightlife district. Nice good size rooms and modern decor. Staff helpful and polite. Plenty of places to eat, the hotel has an award winning restaturant you can try. Adjacent to Knutsford Terrace, bars and restaurants for nightlife and entertainment. Loved this place although a little pricey.

Make sure you have the address of the hotel written down in chinese - taxi drivers are not familliar with our dialect and do not understand.
From the minute you enter this hotel I knew we had made the right choice - very designer - lovely lighting - fab decour - great comfortable room. The staff were very welcoming and were always on hand to offer advice or help. Very attentative and friendly.
You get a mobile phone to use which was great as we were meeting people at our hotel and did not want to hang around waiting - as soon as they arrived the hotel called us and we came back. Any messages or communication with the hotel could be made with the phone at no extra charge wherever you were in Hong Kong.
Breakfast was amazing - fantastic selection of both chinese and western food. All looked appetising and fresh.
Location of the hotel was great right on nathan Road where all the shopping you could possibly want, a short taxi ride from the airport train to Kowloon meant you could be door to door in about 40 mins. Underground station a couple of minutes away for easy acess to Hong Kong central.
The swiming pool and spa was beautiful. water in the main pool warm, jaccuzzis lovely and hot both in the main pool area and changing rooms.
Complimentary bottled water provided in rooms and spa - infact if you ever needed any more you just asked and they gave it to you.
Free wifi.
can't say enough great things about this hotel.

Room Tip: any room is good

The Mira is right across the Mira Mall which has a lot of shopping and dining establishments. Location is perfect. You can stay out all night and walk back feeling safe.

We got a room facing the inner courtyard. While the view is pleasant, you don't get much sunlight in the room, even with the curtains drawn open. Boutique hotels don't need to be dark and gloomy. At the onset, it felt good to come home to the hotel. But after staying 3 nights, walking through dark spaceship-like corridors can feel gloomy.

Service is not the best and friendliest, but ok. It took a while for our luggage to be brought to our room. We were told they lost the luggage stubs attached, so it too some time. We could have easily just dragged our stuff on our own, on hindsight :( Could have saved us more time.

Mattress is a bit too hard for us, but it's just us. Could be the preference of most other guests. Comforter was a bit too warm even with the A/C on high; maybe it's the type designed for really cold winters, but we were in warm September HK weather. They should consider the seasons when they set the bedroom amenities.

I was in Hong Kong recently and visited the Room One frequently. It is the lounge area off the lobby. They had a great Jazz band, fantastic atmosphere, free wifi, nightly drink special, and great service staff. The nights I was there, April, Sam, and Austin took great care of me. They were polite and professional and made me feel welcome in a place far from home. I saw this attention to service in all staff I encountered. I am in the hotel business so while enjoying my glass of wine, I watched all the activity. Management was in the lobby, greeting guests, staff opening doors. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I visited more than 50 hotels in HK and I can confirm that is one of the best of HK. Perfect location, no bad price, good services, amazing SPA. Everything OK.
SPA is very nice. There is a very big hot jacuzzi area and big pool. Very nice.
Perfect! Congratulation. Absolutely I will come back.
