Excellent hotel, location and staff, Eddie the assistant concierge of X team was excellent what he didn’t know about the local area wasn’t worth known. We stayed on the 31st floor with breakfast included and may I say that breakfast was great; the chefs were more than helpful, Andrew the senior chef top job very positive about making sure you feel at home. Andrew your smorgasbord was something you and the team should be proud of,(a few extra KGs to my waist but worth every inch). The train system in Hong Kong is fantastic! Ask Eddie for an Octopus card you use this on all transport great idea (Wish AUS would catch onto what Asian countries are doing with their public transport, the station is just near this hotel, so for a few dollars you can be anywhere and it's fast. The staff make you feel like family at this hotel, from booking through to checking out - nothing was a problem. Nice size room. We will definitely stay here again when next in Hong Kong. Bill

Room Tip: Level 31 room 27 is were we stayed, I can't comment on other rooms this level was good no noise...

I stayed here for 12 nights in October - 8 for a work Conference and 4 for leisure.

I was originally in a Vital Place room for the first week, then they upgraded me to an Essential Place which had much more room - which was necessary for all the shopping! The Vital Place would be fine for a 1-2 night stay, but if you're staying longer I can definitely recommend going for the larger room.

The room facilities were of a very high standard - the quirky touches make this hotel stand out from any other corporate brand I've stayed in. It certainly gave the Langham a sense of personality verging on a boutique feel, which is often difficult for hotels of this size.

We had access to the Club L lounge on level 36, which included complimentary breakfast and beverages and snacks during the day. Even though Hong Kong is a relatively cheap city to eat in, it was handy having this if you didn't feel like going out.

If you're looking at the Langham for a corporate event (dinner, conference, meeting etc), the function spaces are very flexible, with good lighting and views including plenty of natural light. The AV facilities were flawless, which is so important when hosting a corporate event. Everything went off without a hitch. The catering was generous and well laid out - people were commenting on the high quality of food and drinks, including the prompt and efficient service of the team.

I can highly recommend a visit to the rooftop pool - stunning! The gym is up on the 41st floor - a great view and motivator to work out to! The Chuan Spa is also worth a visit for some relaxation.

Langham Place is in a highly accessible location, close to Mong Kok station so you can get anywhere in Hong Kong quickly, across the road from Langham Place shopping mall including H&M, and only a few blocks from the Ladies' Market, Electronics Alley and Sneaker Street.

What really made this hotel stand out was the attention to detail from the staff and management team. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing less than perfect.

Room Tip: If you're staying a few nights, I definitely recommend staying in one of the Club L rooms. Bette...

Great hotel and excellent location. The train system in Hong Kong is fantastic! there is a station just near this hotel, so for a few dollars you can be anywhere and it's fast too. The main train station that takes you to the airport also allows you to check your luggage in at the station and you don't see it again until you arrive at your final destination - brilliant! We did catch a taxi to that station (v. cheap in HK) because we had A LOT of luggage.
The staff are v. friendly at this hotel, from booking through to checking out - nothing was a problem. Nice size rooms too for a family of 4 in Asia, this is a challenge as most hotels only allow one extra child with 2 adults. The pool and day spa are fantastic, located v. high up with an amazing view of the city. Will definitely stay here again when next in Hong Kong.

Very good hotel overall and I recomend this hotel for anyone to say. There were a few hiccup during my stay like TV would work, minibar fridge was not working but that did not disrupt my stay in the hotel. The TV was fixed and I didn't bother with the minibar.
However, I would like to recommend the hotel to have more doormen, to help with the luggages. I had to carry the luggage my self during check in and checkout.

A very friendly and clean hotel in the bustle of the Mongkok markets. Fantastic location for shoppers, with the very stylish Langham Place Shopping Centre next door and the main market areas a couple of easy blocks away.
The rooms were very neat, modern and quiet with all the facilities required for enjoying yourself. The staff were all very helpfull and friendly, especially the boys at Concierge who would ensure you got where you were going and could find your way back home. Thanks Vincent!
The rooftop pool and spa had great views in all directions and allowed for a relaxing break after being on the go all day.
All in all a great base from which to explore Hong Kong!

The first thing i will say is that we picked this hotel because of the reviews on trip advisor as we have done on all of our trips. We were not dissapointed in anyway. This trip was for my 40th b/day , my wifes b/day and our first wedding anniversary. I had chosen to get the limo service from airport pickup and departure, i would recommend this to anybody if you have never been to Hongkong.counter easy to find swift and friendly trip to Hotel. When we arrived, we were greeted with happy, smiley hosts and escorted to club L.Another thing i would recommend for this hotel.Breakfast and internet included, free drinks and snacks 24hrs a day, massage chairs and a seperate kids room across the hall(so no kids under feet)We went every afternoon for a cold drink and some snacks(great after a day of sight seeing)We were quickly checked in and shown to our room. We were worn out from travelling(36hrs awake). We showered and were looking forward to the nights fireworks. We had a knock on the door and to our suprise we were bought bottled sparkling water, a bottle of champagne,a chocolate heart with chocolates inside, 3 full glasses of m and m,s , gummy bears and jelly beans, we also received a big bowl of fruit.the next day we went on a free cultural tour(recommended)After spending the day out on my b/day i was suprised to find a b/day cake waiting for me in our room as did my wife on her b/day. we booked into ming court restaraunt for our anniversary(highly recommend)we were suprised with something special that our host had organised for us(i will not say what in case you get the same)i could go on and on about this hotel, the breakfast, the backyard and there yummy cocktails and food, the spa(highly recommend)which we visited everyday, the location or the room, all of which we loved but the biggest thing was the staff.Friendly, polite, efficient and very helpfull. The turn down at the evenings are a treat on themselves.we have stayed at many 5 star hotels in asia and the service here was the best we have recived. The staff at the Lagham Place made our trip a happy and memerial stay. A BIG special thanks to Jackel for arranging our special events and being so genuine and friendly. Thanks to everybody at Langham Place , we loved being there.

Room Tip: choose your option for club L and get the limo service, also visit the backyard and Ming Court early...

Hong Kong is one of our favorite places to visit. We go there thrice a year and we normally stay in different hotels and areas to know our best options. We stayed for the first time in Langham Place Hotel last August 2-5. By the way, that month is also the best time for shopping in Hong Kong as everything is practically on sale.

Booking/Reservation

My boyfriend and I booked a standard Essential Place room via e-mail. We asked if they could give me a discount for our entire stay. Their response was quick and to my delight, they gave me a 10% discount. I could've even gotten 15% had I decided to stay longer. The processing was fast and the reservation officer was polite in responding to email. For a five-star hotel, it was also reasonably priced.

Arrival/Stay

Upon arrival, the receptionist told us that the twin room we booked was not yet ready so we needed to wait for another hour. Anyway, they gave us coupon to avail some free drinks at the bar in the lobby while waiting. When it was time to check-in, we were told there was no available twin room so they upgraded us to bigger quad room. Of course the upgrade was a good gesture. Our room was very spacious, neat, and the service was very personalized. Even the digital telephone in the room had our names displayed on it and all the stuff in the room were really quirky! The view from the room was also spectacular and the service was remarkable.

Location

Langham Place is conveniently located at the heart of Mongkok shopping district. The hotel itself has a mall adjacent to it with various fastfood chains and restaurants. The Mongkok MTR station is also just at the basement of the hotel building. So if you are fond of shopping and eating and you don't want to waste time commuting to the shopping and food districts, this is the best place to stay. Mongkok district is really lively at night and you can enjoy the place even late at night if you stay at a nearby beautiful hotel like Langham Place. This is definitely worth every Hong Kong dollar spent.

Overall, we had a very good experience with Langham Place Mongkok and we have booked again for winter this year. Highly recommended.

P.S.

The hotel's main lobby/reception area is located at the 4th floor and is accessible through the mall while the concierge is at the first floor.
