Stayed here for 6 nights as part of a longer trip through China. It is located a bit away from buzz in East TST, but both a metro station and the star ferry terminal are within walking distance (15-20 mins to the ferry via Walk of the Stars along the waterfront). The history and science museums are also only a stone's throw away. From the airport, the hotel can be reached via a free shuttle bus from Kowloon station where the airport express train stops, but a taxi will be much quicker because the bus stops at many hotels on the way.

From the second of our arrival to the end of our stay the service was exceptional with friendly, smiling and helpful staff members not only in the reception but also at all other points. Rooms are well equipped with toiletries, ironing board, kettle, etc and furnished in a rather classic style - if you can afford it, book the harbour view as it is truly spectacular. The rooftop pool is not very big but it is a nice spot for a time off from the city. If you don't feel like going out, the Chinese restaurant in the basement is a good choice. For a quick breakfast, there is the option of an "express breakfast" in the lobby which is both a good deal and offers a nice spot for people watching.
My only negative point is the ridiculous price charged for wifi, which at the time of our stay was 120hkd per 24hrs. This really should be a free service nowadays. You're better off buying a 3G SIM card which offers web access for 70hkd for a week.

All in all, we had a great stay at the hotel especially because of the wonderful service and attentive staff! For my next stay in HK, I might still consider a different hotel, but only to be closer to Central/soho.

Got to say, after a very long time I ventured back into this hotel. I last stayed here in 2006 - lots of issues, very poor service and really crap food for an Intercon. Today I am very happy to report that its a very different story, the location is the same, the building has been refurbished on the outside and I guess some work on the inside. I had a good size room facing the Victoria Harbour on the 12th floor. The gym is pretty well kitted out but the swimming pool is very small for a hotel of this caliber. The service is just brilliant....I can not think of a bad thing to say about the staff at this hotel, everyone without exception was just brilliant. I do have to say that the staff at the concierge desk are knowledgeable and outstanding, special thinks to King and Chief Concierge Thomas Leung - Guys, you are both absolutely amazing! Thank You!!!

The food was pretty good and pretty well priced. Had dinner at the Hoi King Heen Chinese restaurant, met the Executive Chinese Chef Leung Fai Hung, who walks around and interacts with the patrons. We just got him to feed us - without going through the menu. He made some fabulous choices with fresh ingredients that are local to Hong Kong. Absolutely fabulous and tasty as hell!

All in all, a brilliant hotel to stay in Hong Kong. Close to the water, Close to Kowloon pier and TST and lots of shops and restaurants near by. The MRT at TST and East TST is a five minute walk.

Room rates are very reasonable for this property.

Guys, thanks for a brilliant stay! When next in Hong Kong I will come by for sure!!!

Room Tip: Get a Victoria Harbour View room is possible........close the curtains when you go out during the da...

I stayed here with my sisters for 5D/4N. We managed to get a good deal from Sydney to Hong Kong and book this wonderful hotel with breakfast for the 3 of us included. We booked a room with 2 queen beds.

When we first checked in, we were advised that the free breakfast would only be for 2 people as that is what was paid for. We were quite shocked and asked them to double check that as we had arranged for breakfast to be for 3 people. They said that Reservations will check it and we will be advised whether or not it is so the next morning.

Surely enough, we were right. They were quick to apologize and also expressed their apology by setting up a foldable bed in our room whilst we were gone. We were pleasantly surprised by this, it was very thoughtful of them.

Each time we came back from a long day of sight-seeing, we would find chocolates and complimentary bottles of water, which was great!

Their gym amenities are complete. The gym is divided into the cardio section and the weights section, I thought this was very professional and looked well organized.

The pool is on the rooftop and is located just outside the gym. It was beautiful and so serene. Being able to swim and looking up at the clear blue sky made my morning swim all the more special.

Overall, this hotel is pretty darn great to stay in. Make sure to leave room each morning for breakfast, the selection is fantastic!

Stayed in this hotel twice both visits were comfortable and nice. The hotel is well located and serves almost everything required by a business traveller. The breakfast spread is nice and covers almost everything. The staff is extremely helpful and go leaps and bound to help the guest. I would surely go back and recommend this hotel to all.

I spent 4 nights in this hotel just last week. The location...it is OK, everything is close in HK. The taxi trip to TST is around HKD$24, the Kowloon Station is around HKD$32 dollars away.

Now the hotel...I stayed on level 16 and the room was just great. Everything was perfect, from the time we checked in to the time we checked out, everything was just great. The room was kept in a spotless condition, everything in the room worked as well as it should, the bathroom was spotless, bed comfortable and little touches like the in room umbrella, nice slippers, welcome fruit made the stay very very enjoyable.

There are a few dinning options in the hotel as well as just outside, there is Thai, local food, western food, coffee shops, banks and 7/11 within a 1-2 minute walk. The MTR is less than 10 mins walk away and the TST station is around 10-15 mins slow walk. My guess not more than 1km from the hotel.

The view from the room was great, I could watch the city light up every night.

You really cannot go wrong with this hotel. Yes, it is quiet expensive but the money is well spent. If your budget does not stretch as high, try Crown Plaza in Tsuen Kwan O. The service is as good, rooms great and the cost is around 50/60% of this hotel, although HK is around 15-20 mins away by MTR. The savings on room rates will definitely pay for the Octopus card and the additional travel time.

Room Tip: All rooms are great although the rooms facing the harbour have a great view at night.

If you can afford it, stay here. Perfect location, amazing view, very nice rooms. Stayed here with my two teenage sons and they got us a 3rd bed for small charge. Harbor view was truly spectacular day and night. Nice pool and weight room. Hot tub was closed during our stay unfortunately.

The hotel is very nice. breakfast is very good for weasturns and for asians as well. the chinese restaurant is great. but if you want coffe you have to sit in the lobby. no place nice for city view with coffee or drink. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the MTR (half underground...) so it is a bit far - but overall - great place.
