The hotel situated in a very strategic location. It is near the Prince Edward station, near the shopping street such as ladies market. But it is very expensive for an old hotel. The room also very small and the bed is stone hard. If you are travelling with kids this is not a kids' friendly hotel for you.

Location is superb, with Prince Edward MTR just around the corner. Because it's in a more residential area, there are good local eateries (ranging from porridge to roast duck to dim sum to sushi) everywhere, open from 6am to 1am, at really good prices. You can walk out at 7am, walk down the road and buy excellent steaming hot char siew baos for breakfast. Housekeeping was very efficient. Requests from extra bed to extra pillows were met immediately. Staff were professional and helpful enough, though not really warm and friendly. There is free wireless everywhere in the hotel and in the room, something better hotels could not even provide. A little old looking but kept as clean as possible. Nice clean bathtub to soak your aching body.

However, beds were really hard and uncomfortable. The hotel beds were as hard as the rollaway beds. So unless you're used to hard beds, don't count on having a good night's sleep. Rooms were small but then again, it's Hong Kong. It's a no frills hotel but kept clean and tidy enough. I had a horrible view from my window (it looks into the roof of the next building, which was dirty, unkempt, untidy ...). I had to keep my curtains drawn the entire time. There is only ONE powerpoint in the entire room. They provided a three-way plug but one is used for the wireless modem. So you're basically left with two points to charge your phones, ipads, laptops, boil water, etc. Need to wake up in the middle of the night to charge the next phone, which is not a problem, since the hard beds make it hard to sleep through the night.

I definitely will NOT visit this hotel again as it is so disgusting. And it's only me and my mother and it's already so cramp. Then the television is spoilt, bed is so stone hard, walls have stains and the toilet is also filled with stains. Luckily it's only 2 nights , but thats still long. Definitely a no-no to this hotel.

Location is the only thing and everything about Metropark Hotel Mongkok. I bet there are no other 3-star-hotel can beat them because of the fantastic location.

The hotel room was clean and simple, we called the room keeper "Ah Jer", meaning "big sister", she was quite friendly. Their room service was also quite good, when we need extra pillows and hair dryer, they brought them to our door immediately. The doorman was also being helpful as he helped to post my postcards. The reception counter staffs did their works really quick and professional. We bought Disneyland's tickets at a small table in the hotel lobby, the staff was very friendly and helpful, even briefed us upon the map. however, when we asked some question to the same table (but different staff), she showed us terrible attitue. So ,one thing need to be pointed out is not all Hong Konger service are bad, but a little bit extreme to me, there are no in-betweens.

I will stay in Metropark Hotel Mongkok again in my future trip to Hong Kong.

Stayed here during short trip in Hong Kong. The hotel itself is......so so. Room is small, kinda old, you can hear noices from the outside and the hallway smelled pretty funny. But they provide free wi-fi in the room so that's always a plus if you need to connect to the internet a lot. The location is pretty nice, actually. Near Prince Edward MTR Station, lots of restaurants nearby, SevenEleven, etc. It's a decent hotel for a short, touristy trip.

This is my 4th stay with Metropark Mongok over the years of which the last stay was 4 years ago.
Sticking up to this choice for its location which is of like 5 mins walking distance to Prince Edward Mtr. Walking distance to Fa Yuen street / 15 mins walk to Langham place shopping at Mongkok Mtr.
The only point I don't like is that the bed is too soft to my preference...
Otherwise, always satisfied with my stay here :-)
Service provided was acceptable and was happy to see that free wifi was provided too!

Room Tip: We stayed on the 8th floor on a non-smoking level near the lift and yet we didn't hear much nois...
