November is a great time of year to visit Hong Kong, the heat and humidity have dropped and the Christmas decorations have started to adorn the buildings. The Grand Hyatt is a fantastic place to stay, the service, cleanliness, the freshness and variety of food is first class. It has a vibrant feel but at the same time there is an overwhelming feel of calm, which is what you need in such a busy city. The location is great, the star ferry that takes you to Kowloon is just around the corner and covered walkways and taxis are everywhere. The champagne bar is a lovely way to wind down after dinner and the club lounge is excellent. They harbour view rooms are amazing and spa is first class. This hotel is about to undergo renovations.....I am looking forward to returning sooner rather than later, worth every cent.

Had a conference at this hotel and therefore stayed here also for 4 nights. I enjoyed it very much. The rooms were spacious enough for Hong Kong and the food was generally of a high standard. Laundry was very prompt. I think the hotel is in an excellent location for bars and restaurants nearby.

This was our first visit to the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong. It is well deserving of its 5 Star grading. The check-in procedure, cleanliness, food, service and rooms are all 5 Star. Well located in Wan Chai next to the Exhibition Centre, it is great if you are going to an exhibition and only a few steps away from the entrance. Great harbour view, luxury bed, free internet and great food. It is an expensive hotel in every respect, but well worth it. We would go again - without a doubt or hesitation!

Room tip: Try to get a room with a harbour view - you won't regret it. Also, no A/C noise

I've stayed here on a business trip out of China. The hotel and service are very nice. The executive floor rooms are very nice. And, night snacks and cocktails are top notch! The location makes it a bit difficult to just go walk and shop. But, local taxis are right there for you. Only draw back is the cost can be high.

The hotel is in great shape. Spa (sauna) was good, but NO ROBES/ SLIPPERS were provided. Beautiful pool, and serenity garden looks like a fairytale at night! They have wonderful healthy food selection buffet, yet I find $100 per person (excluding drinks) just "a little" over the top!!!

there is a cool Jazz bar playing life music at evenings.. friendly service.

HOUSEKEEPING kept ignoring my "privacy" signs, perhaps due to the lack of English knowledge...

Room tip: pool view rooms are quieter.
